This review has nothing to do with the food and rather the behavior of the employees through the night of the flood here in Roswell, October 19-20th 2024.
I was parked in front of this BWW all night while that section of main street was torrenting, from ~11ish that night to 5 AM. When i parked here I went up and asked two other stranded persons in front of the door if there were people in the restaurant because I needed to use the restroom. They said they weren't letting anyone in to use the bathroom and the doors were just locked. On further inspection I could see the employees inside. I am unsure what regulations the staffers have after they close regarding people, but the flooding was a crisis that left many people stranded with nowhere else to go. I was uncomfortable all night needing to use the restroom and allegedly they didn't let firefighters/first responders use the restroom either.
The employees that night came out from the building multiple times, and I witnessed them being very obnoxious, loud, standing on the sidewalk and laughing and calling people stupid for driving into the torrent further north of us over the Spring River waterway. There were cars floating away, and a good handful of people still tried to push through the water that was sweeping vehicles away. A lot of stranded folk were trying to wave down the drivers to tell them to turn around, including myself for a time, while the BWW employees that night provided little aid if at all.
Think what you want about the people trying to push through the waters, but I think the way this BWW's employees handled themselves was still obnoxious and rude. There was a lot of fear and confusion that night and people in our town haven't seen flooding that bad before so no wonder we had people whobwere acting reckless. I just saw no reason to make fun of people like the BWW employees were during a night that was very frightening, nor do I see any good reason besides corporate BS to not be letting first responders and stranded persons use the restroom while there were active attempts to rescue people and do damage control.
I attached photos of the flood + damage that myself and others took to show what kind of crisis this genuinely was. I think after all that fear and seeing terrified and injured people in this restaurant's parking lot, the least that could have been done was allow the stranded people + first responders to use...
Read moreI wish I could give this (one and only) Roswell, NM Buffalo Wild Wings a negative review.
Unfortunately, I must leave at least 1 star.
This visit was ridiculous. The server was nice enough, but my "meal" was ludicrous. I asked for street tacos and they were out of chicken. I asked for a bacon/guac burger and they were out of both. So I asked for a cheeseburger, no onion, mayo, & extra lettuce (as I'm on a keto diet). I also asked for a side salad with ranch... no ranch. Also, no carrots or celery, coleslaw, or pretty much anything else. So (as in the pictures below) I was literally served a very tiny, sad patty with cheese and a very small amount of shredded lettuce. I had to ask our server for a fork and knife, tomatoes, pickles, and mayo. The vegetables were extremely sad too 🥺 I was beyond nice with the server and the manager. I did not raise a fuss or even raise my voice.
When the server brought the check I questioned my $9.48 sad patty. She came back and said her manager said that's how to charge me. They cannot discount a bun, onion, a side... nothing. So when the poor girl came back I asked to speak with said manager. 10 minutes later the manager came up to me and said the server didn't know how to ring up "just a patty". She blamed it all on the poor server. And this story just goes on... and on... and on.
Basically do not try to eat here.
And yes I realize that there are covid supply chain issues (remember I was nice, quiet, & pleasant)... But you can't tell me that they couldn't go to Shamrock, Sam's Club, Walmart, Farmers, or Albertsons to purchase items that they were lacking from...
Read moreI guess when you come in with two football teams things can get overwhelming. However, I have seen it done. We didn't come in all at once and it wasn't like the bullpen on Wallstreet with everyone trying to order at once. The folks at this BWW that night had no sense of teamwork or hospitality. Lots of mixed up food and drink- runners who couldn't have been familiar with what where or who came down to our section and cattle-called the orders which became difficult once there was a higher volume of people-things got hectic and a LOT of people left because they were HUNGRY and hadn't even gotten their order taken. Lots of people just left and went to get their own alcohol or to WHATABURGER. Shame- if they would have had it together they could have mad a killing on tips instead of making a lot of people irritated. I didn't get my food on time and had to get it to go-good thing too, because I was so over the experience. They stuck to an inconvenient alcohol rule which I understand and respect BUT that was a major downfall among the people there. The area for large parties wasn't accommodating and everyone was squished on top of omw another, all those robust football women forced to get friendly in the corner-yikes! That's not Buffalo's fault in terms of service and hospitality but if I'm being helpful then you'll understand that that Buff's isn't for large parties with larger bodies is all-choose another...
