I pass this location on my way to and from work all the time, so on average I swing through the drive-thru 3 times a week. For the past several months, every single time I order, I ask if they have any Double Smoked Bacon sandwiches left (it's my favorite food item on the Starbucks menu, and apparently everyone else's in Roswell, too) and they NEVER DO. For months and months, this store was always sold out of the Double Smoked Bacon by the time I was there to order, often at 10:30 am, sometimes by 9:00 am. It almost became a running joke between me and the baristas, "This poor girl, she can never get her Double Smoked Bacon sandwich!" Well a couple of days ago, I did my routine order, "I"ll have a __ and... sigh Do you guys have any of the Double Smoked Bacon left?" The manager let me know that she just placed a new order for those sandwiches and ordered double so that I would have a better chance of getting one, and that she ordered extra specifically with ME in mind. She said that they would set a sandwich aside for me and have it waiting by the time I was able to come back the next day, and as consolation for all the times they didn't have my favorite sandwich, she bought my grande holiday latte for me and STILL gave me a sticker for my punch card. :) Finally, after months of trying, I was able to snag not one but TWO Double Smoked Bacon sandwiches the next day. This is my favorite Starbucks location anywhere and I'm so grateful to this awesome staff -- they make delicious drinks and truly care about...

Honestly....I don’t even know what just happened to me. It felt like a fever dream. First off, the woman running the register somehow messed up my order but....she was repeating back what I was ordering and reiterating it’s specifications as if to confirm them but then completely failed to complete an accurate order or create one that was at all similar. I mean, how? Tell me. She messed it so completely and entirely that it somehow became an art form too.
I’m not even mad, I’m honestly impressed.
Second off, when they tried to redo it with the right order they still couldn’t get it right. And at this point I assume I was speaking with a seasoned barista because she was the one with the moxie to commandeer the situation in an attempt to fix it. Well it turned out to be a real sword and the stone situation and as valiant an effort as she gave....she gave me the wrong dang order again.
Third off, when they tried to refund my money they couldn’t figure out how to refund me the correct amount. My payment was 13 and some odd cents and I told her it was fine I can just eat two dollars as she originally had it at 11 when trying to refund it. Nah, she just refunded my 16 dollars instead. So I guess I can’t even be mad. I mean they gave me 3 or so extra dollars back.

Read moreAs a former Starbucks partner (5+ years since I've been an employee) I regularly order complicated drinks and I hold very high expectations for my orders and service at Starbucks. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the store is incredibly clean. The partners are competent and kind, they always get my very customized drinks perfect. The store itself is brand new and is a great place to study. There are many chairs, tables, and most importantly, multiple electric outlets for recharging your electronic devices. Yes, there is always a crowd of loyal customers at this store. Even during a rush I have never waited more than 3 minutes for a drink, and there is always a place to sit. Even when my Starbucks gold redemption codes didn't work (the app is unreliable) the employees have worked with their supervisors to make sure I received the discount my gold membership had promised me.
