The best local Pokemon TCG to do business with by far.
I connected with AtlantaTCG via social media. Fast and friendly responses. Extremely welcoming when meeting at the store. Tons of inventory to choose from including a massive selection of raw, graded, and sealed product, both English and Japanese. I've done numerous transactions with AtlantaTCG at this point including sales, trades, and purchases. He's always more than fair from a price standpoint.
When you get to hear the story about this business it will blow you away. Someone in a previous review said it best. This is most definitely a passion project that became a highly successful business that has plans to continue growing, which only means great things for the Pokemon community knowing they have a consistent resource to do business with.
I saw a review posted about how it's hard to view cards in the case, but that's simply because he has so much inventory on hand at any given time, far more than most card shops I've been to. Sorting through the amount of hits he has is like sorting through bulk anywhere else.
There's restocks almost weekly, and AtlantaTCG does a great job posting them on social media so that you know at a glance what is available as it's being added.
All in all, AtlantaTCG is most definitely worth your support. Solid member of the Pokemon community, great story, and an honest business. Will continue to support AtlantaTCG for...
Read morethe pros and cons are pretty much the same
pros: lots of inventory to look through, pricing can be solid cons: lots of inventory to sift through (took me at least 10 minutes to comb through everything), pricing can be stale
now there is a good selection of graded, non-graded, along with japanese cards as well to make this a one-stop shop
pricing again, i'm pretty sure it's a one and done and with all the inventory it's hard to be dynamic, not to mention that these are "booths" managed by the store and so i doubt there's ability to negotiate any of the pricing
on the flip side, if you catch a card priced a week ago that's starting to go up in value, you can get a pretty good deal on it
i think i personally prefer being able to look down into a case and see each card individually but in this situation it's pretty difficult with the lack of space and amount of inventory
i wouldn't call it a "perfect" tcg spot but it gets the job done and if you ever want to know when new cards come in i'm pretty sure there are updates on the Facebook page with pricing in the pictures there
if it's your first time i'd say go for it and take a look through everything but as a recurring customer, i'd visit maybe once a year and look at other shops in...
