Food was good. However, we went to pay check, noticed our food that was on the daily special was charged regular price and we never were given dessert as included on "daily special." Waitress never re-filled pops. So she says "the food you ordered is a special but is on menu elsewhere, how did I know you wanted it as daily special "I'm not a mind reader"!!! OMG did you really just say that to it us?? No, we'd prefer to pay the higher price for it and not get the soup and dessert (included on special) AND I completely believe in and I tip very well when at ALL places of services, restaurants, hair salon, nail salon, etc., even when I get not-so-great service (I adjust accordngly). Before I had totally made a decision, the waitress very nastily said "Have a great day", could tell she didnt mean it at all, at that point I made my decision to not leave a tip!! I actually felt bad doing that to someone because I've been on the server side side, but I have NEVER TREATED OR TALKED to a customer that way either!! The manager agreed with us, whole situation was handled improperly, she apologized and gave us ice...

The restaurant is right down the road for me, I've eaten there several times since it was Blue Bay. I've taken MANY friends there. All of my friends have complained about the bad food, bad tea, unedible hot chocolate.

Today was the worst. I went there with a cousin and friend, the waitress talked my cousin out of what she wanted to eat. The waitress said "that meat will be a day old and they'll overspice it to compensate." So she recommended something else, my cousin got it, ate 2 bites, hated it. Our food was terrible in general.

When we were done eating, we were never asked if we wanted desert and had to flag down our waitress and eventually we got her to come back to us after 8 minutes (I timed). I made an order, waitress said oh no you don't want that, you want this. I swear she was trying to get fired.

I've been there 4 times in 2 months. Nothing but complaints from my friends too. Swampy burgers, TOUGH chicken, undercooked and cold veggies. Avoid this place and fire...

I went back since the new owners and the place is really good I had breakfast but I wanted my breakfast my breakfast way and not what they had on the menu they were very accommodating and I ended up with "my breakfast" 2 fluffy scrambled eggs 3 slices of delicious bacon and one piece of tender thick french toast for $8.00. waitress was nice and not overly chatty friendly and got me the breakfast i wanted without eye rolling. Their soups are good and worth making the trip for. Especially wednesdays for chicken and dumpling. Taking them out is affordable it was good and worth every penny of the $12.00. for a large container. The place even looked and smelled cleaner when walking in. It was jammed so obviously I wasn't the only one who felt that way and yet as crowded as it was they were able to keep up with the orders I think we waited under 15 minutes for our food to come. Downside is very loud. Happens when every table in the place is filled with...

First and very last time we will come here. My mom and I are from out of town and decided to go to a nice sit down restaurant. Upon walking and we noticed the silverware rolled right next to the register, people coughing by it, a rude waitress, and our food is cold. When we got to our table we did ask for plastic ware which we received we did not turn our food back in because at that point in time we just wanted to eat and leave. The soup Wasn’t any better it was cold it wasn’t up to temperature and people were walking in without wearing their masks. We then went to go pay and the manager asked how is everything? We replayed the food was cold and he said good oh I’m sorry and did nothing further.

Lived in RL from May '89-Nov '02 and live out in Beach Park now. This past Feb. marked the very 1st time dining here since it used to be Blue Bay when I dined in last. Yes, 20+ years it's been. Pretty much the same type of menu with a good ol' fashioned breakfast which is something I always look forward to when dining in a traditional American family restaurant. Good food at reasonable prices despite the climbing food supply cost and increased minimum wage, relatively spacious setting with a dining area that is kept clean/sanitized. Service is top notch and I'm not sure if I'm spelling it right but our server Tori was superb and very attentive, easily a reason to come back soon.

Service was incredibly quick. We received our coffee within seconds of us sitting down at the tables. The food overall was really tasty. Hash browns were a little bland but salt and pepper is on the table so you can get it to the saltiness each person wants. The gravy on the country fried steak was one of the best gravies I have ever had. I now have to come back to have their biscuits and gravy to enjoy more of it. My wife had a shortstack plate with strawberries. She was concerned it would be overly sweet, it wasn't which is great. Definitely recommend giving it a shot.
