It's so sad that the whole time I lived in RL from May '89 - Nov '02, I only made it to Olando's once. I've been here a few times in the last 10 years but living out in Beach Park making a much longer trek to get here. This past May my family & I were on our way to Spring Grove and I mentioned to my wife that it would be the perfect opportunity for lunch to catch up dining in venues in the RL area I haven't tried in a while. Being located off of Rollins, I mentioned to my wife that I was in the mood for pizza so naturally this place came to mind. You gotta love the 50s vibe here as well as those BIG slices of heaven. Olando's is truly one of the most iconic restaurants in the RL area and when in the mood for some darn good pizza, this place should be on your list of go-to spots. Their menu is a Chicago style/Italian and the food in general is really good plus you don't have to travel far for dessert with Diana's connected to it. Always a clean dining room with friendly service serving up awesome grub at still reasonable prices in an unforgettable classic atmosphere. I always try my best to support local and I wish the owner(s) continued success & prosperity.🍕🍦

We ordered a $30 thin crust pizza tonight as is our usual. The box was very heavy, when we got home we found crust that was over 1/2 inch thick and not fully cooked. We are long time customers no longer because it's Olando's preference to lose a customer rather than make good on an order. It was impossible for my disabled senior brother to chew it. When we called to complain (we have never complained before) at first the person was going to make us a new thin crust, then someone in authority told him no - no remake of the pizza, and told us next time to order an extra thin. There is no extra thin option on the menu!!! If you google and ask if a 1/2" thick crust is considered a thin crust pizza the answer is no - it should be 1/4" or less. Review reduced to 1 star and pictures from previous review removed.

Tonight was my 2nd visit and if I lived closer I would definitely come back more often! I have to preface by saying I'm obsessed with everything about the 50's so this little replica diner is a dream. The food is inexpensive, the portions are HUGE, the menu is expansive and the food is absolutely delicious!! Last time I went, I made the mistake of not saving room for their desserts; this time I did and had their homemade cannoli and a slice of Eli's cheesecake. Outside of their incredible food, the staff is friendly, the vibe is amazing and they play 50's music which complements the decor. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would!

The food is great but service was weird. Being a server myself the staff gets nothing but sympathy however the owners or managers should hire others to help out. We had to wait a good 35-40 minutes for our food. We only ordered Italian beefs which should take no more than 10-15 minutes at a sit down restaurant. Our server had only checked on us to take our orders and he wasnt abke to acknowledge us until our food made and appearance. When he brought ht efood he had to make 3 trips to retrieve it as they had no trays for them to carry the food. He seemed very rushed and stressed. To me it seemed like they needed a food runner and more servers. For the prices on everything and with how busy they were they should easily be able to have enough staff. The girl qho received our drink had to make 4 trips and I REALLY RECOMMEND GETTING TRAYS TO CARRY THINGS. It's a better use of the staff time and the customer time. Once ahin thiugh the...

Pretty disappointed. Paid about $60 for a side of Mostaccioli the shakes were about seven dollars for a large? Barely any cookie dough or Oreo in both shakes. Got chicken parmigiana, it was a daily special charged Us $15 for that, a beef with grilled onions ( onions weren’t grilled they were literally dipped in butter) food was a small upgrade from Pizza Hut or a dominos. My friends use to go here all the time and now I see why they stopped. I was so upset, especially I wasn’t greeted walking in, 2 people walked passed me I was waiting about 6 mins before I was asked if I needed help. And PS I tipped still!!! We support our towns restaurants and no matter what we appreciate their work and their food. But this was so disappointing We can’t return back here. For that amount of money we paid for such a let down, you cannot get upset with customers making bad reviews! We need some good quality food in this...
