food is really good, great pricing, inexpensive and top quality, but customer service is genuinely just incredulously bad. upon me and my boyfriends first visit, not only could they not find the online order we’d placed an entire hour prior and made us wait for our pickup around fifteen minutes, an employee literally snatched his phone from his hands while he was trying to show our order to scroll through it. as a waitress myself, i genuinely just cannot fathom ever treating a customer the way we’ve been treated at any visit. literally at every single one of our at least 8 visits by this point, there has been at least one issue, whether with our orders or watching another issue with a different customer unfold before we can get service ourselves. most recently, i showed up for a small shake, said $2.50 on the menu, and the woman taking my order asked if i’d like chicken bites, fries, or other things to go with it, all of which i clearly said no to and even restated “just the shake”. she rings up my order, tells me $8.50, and takes my card. upon hearing that, my immediate thought was that something wasn’t right, so i checked the receipt i was given and i was rang up for food i specifically specified i did not want. this was MOMENTS after she’d already taken my card to pay, so i pointed it out as soon as i’d seen and asked for a refund in cash (which, as a waitress myself, i know for a fact can be given). they told me no, just took my card again to i guess process the refund, and then left me entirely in the dark about when the refund payment should hit, stating “uhhh it really just depends on your bank.” before dismissing me. again, food is fire, not a single employee genuinely has any customer service skills or...
Read moreLike in and out except its Austin and about as healthy as this type of food can be. Their fries are great, shakes are super solid, lemonade is actually real. A dozen of the cookies need to go in a zip lock bag so they stay moist. Actually none of this food keeps for long now that I think about it, maybe because they use real ingredients? The banana bread makes great leftovers actually. Its actually absurdly delicious.
Their crew is green, obvs, they once forgot my fries, both of them, but I came back the next night when they weren't totally slammed and they fixed it, even with a different crew. I bet they'd do the same for everyone else who misses speedy tacos so much they're gonna trash talk the brand new P.Terry's. Btw their veggie burger is like almost as good as greenhouse, which is almost as good as hopdoddys IMO, and that once was the other way around, before Todd left.
But seriously where are you gonna go after 10pm? Mcdonnalds? After 12 its ihop vs Dennys unless you go out to whataburger and even their fries are not as good as PTerrys. This Kirby lane is the worst one in the franchise and everyone who's been there knows it. I don't eat at jack in the box.
The only thing this location lacks besides white Russians or something with local tequila is like a pull-up /drive in theater or a park or w/ tables or somewhere to sit and something to look at besides huge vacant parking lots, like a fountain with ducks or interactive laser art and fm transmitting jukebox while you eat outside your car. I'm remarkably pleased with this burger stand....
Read moreI don't understand where this miscommunication occurred. My SO and I rolled in the drive through, and I started placing my order. "Can I get the #3, just the burger" The server responds "do you want that all the way?" I say yes. She then asks if I want a combo or just the burger. So I repeat again "just the burger". She then responds with my order and the total. I wasn't done ordering, however. I add "One more thing, I'd like a lettuce wrap burger with bacon and no sauce." She repeats the order back and I got confused at what she said. I look at my SO and say "I don't think she got the order right" as we drive to the window.
Sure enough, we received 1 item: a #2 with lettuce wrap, bacon, cheese, and no sauce. What happened to the #3 all the way? We come back around, explain what the order was, clarify it was 2 items. We get a bag back with the same item minus 1 patty. The server is visibly angry at us and smirking that we're placing the order incorrectly.
My SO, who used to work fast food, gets out of the car, and the server comes outside with the POS in hand. I watch for 5 minutes as she repeats over and over what the order was. The server continuously made remarks about how I wasn't placing the order correctly. Eventually, my SO starts inputting the order onto the POS herself.
We receive our order, a #3 all the way, and a lettuce wrap burger with no sauce + bacon.
It took this much nerves & effort just to get 2...
