A Hidden Gem for Authentic Chinese BBQ
Last week, I had the pleasure of dining at Yard BBQ, and it was nothing short of a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel like I was stepping into a little piece of China.
The star of the show was undoubtedly the BBQ. Each dish was a masterpiece of flavor, perfectly grilled with just the right amount of char and smokiness that you’d expect from authentic Chinese barbecue. The menu offered a variety of options, from succulent pork belly to tender beef skewers, all marinated in a rich blend of spices that danced on the palate. The side dishes, too, were exceptional, providing the perfect complement to the smoky BBQ flavors.
But what truly set this restaurant apart was the hospitality. Sam, the owner, greeted us with the kind of genuine warmth and friendliness that instantly made us feel at home. His passion for Chinese cuisine and dedication to authenticity was evident in every conversation. He shared stories about the origins of his recipes, giving us a deeper appreciation for the food on our plates.
The attention to detail in both the food and the service made our dining experience unforgettable. It’s rare to find a place that combines culinary excellence with such a welcoming atmosphere, but [Restaurant Name] does it with ease.
For anyone craving authentic Chinese BBQ or looking to explore the rich flavors of Chinese cuisine, Yard BBQ is a must-visit. Thanks to Sam and his team, it’s more than just a meal; it’s an experience that leaves you eager to come...

Upon entering, the chef came to greet us and told us how he cooked all the dishes, and there were dozens of options. He explained how each one was cooked and asked what types of things we liked, so he could suggest which ones to try first. He was very eager to hear our opinions after tasting. He truly seemed to want to hear critiques, so he could make note. There were probably two to three dozen food options, including rice, and a Chinese salad bar. The only thing missing was something for dessert!
Overall the food was way better than I could have expected, miles above your typical fake Panda Express stuff and the combo stuff sold at 99. This stuff tasted authentic. There were a few dishes that were a bit too salty for my tastes, but there were plenty of dishes that were able to balance it out. For the price, you can’t go wrong to try...
Read moreNot the best Chinese bbq. I would not come here a second time. The skewers I ordered were poorly prepared, excessively salty, and left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. Didn’t enjoy my dinner and went home with some stomach pain from the excessive powdered seasoning on the meats. Not a meal I was satisfied paying for. The few existing positive reviews were...
