I USED TO REALLY LOVE THIS PLACE UNTIL THE NASTY OWNER GOT ON THE PHONE AND TOLD ME HES BEEN COOKING FOR 20 YEARS AND I DONT KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT PLEASE READ BELOW
Also the kind lady that helped pour me icecream had NO GLOVES ON after cashing me out before reaching arm length into the empty superman icecream that she charged me for got only a baby scoop worth and asked if i wanted to top it off with any other flavor. NO THANKS!! I WILL BE CALLING BBB
Minding you every time i order from this place my minimum is 20.00 INCIDENT ONE: jalapeno poppers were BURNT and when i say burnt i mean it. i never complained but the following time i went there i mentioned can you make sure not to overcook. They end up accommodating me and giving me extra! Never asked for it tho!
INCIDENT TWO: Today i ordered my cousin and i the usual jalapeno poppers, fries, chicken burger, double cheese burger. The chicken sandwich tasted like rubber like when you just had a bad piece of the chicken breast. I couldn't chew it at all. I saved it to the side to take to them. I called and asked if i could bring it in for a refund and that's when the owner got on the phone accusing that i always wanted free stuff and complained all the time.
I have worked in customer service my whole life and still currently. i Never want anything free i know how much sweat tears and money goes into running a successful business. I tried to tell the owner i know his food is always good but i promise this sandwich is not like what i usually get. He BANNED ME FROM...

I ordered a double-cheeseburger slider and vanilla shake.
The Slider: the bun is not cakey but rather a soft sponge-type bread that absorbs the juice of the burger well. This leaves a great meat-to-bun ratio, and the cheese melt is glorious, covering every part of the patty. I witnessed the maestro on the grill as he made my sliders, and he used the tried and true "pinch and pull" method of lifting the patty off the grill. I then saw him scrap the melted cheese on the grill and add it to the burger. It was a marvelous process to witness and a magical taste to experience. The sliders were hot, cheezy, and accompanied by caramelized onions and a touch of ketchup added for some sweetness. I was highly impressed by the double-cheeseburger sliders I ordered, so much so that I ate 5 in total.
The Shake: It was creamy and delicious, and it was just right in that Goldilocks zone of not being too thick and not too milky.
I ate lunch on a Sunday, and there were only a few other diners, so it was a very calm and chill environment to enjoy my food in. The service was prompt and respectful. I was not waiting long either for my order to be taken...
Read moreWe learned of this place when leaving the zoo today and wanted to grab an early dinner. Making the 7 minute trip from the zoo. We had no idea what to expect.
Comet Burgers is really cool ! Open since 1994. The inside is both clean and retro. Very colorful and murals on the walls are retro diner feel.
Our group of four quickly sat down. We had Kaitlyn as our server. She was very attentive. Quick and most importantly. Informative. We may have asked allot of questions being our first time here.
We ordered Jupiter burger combos, Coney dogs. Milk shakes and waffle fries.
NOTHING disappointed ! Burgers cooked exactly how we asked. Coneys HOT, buns soft. Chilli good. May I recommend the garlic mayo on your burger ! Pickles are super. Cold crunchy and plentiful.
Frootie pebbles milk shake was very good and just like retro diner fashion. You get the extra in the mixing cup.
Everyone enjoyed the food immensely. And Kaitlyn was a pleasure to have as a waitress. We can't wait to return for more shakes and burgers...
