Grandma's Brooklyn Pizza — Restaurant in Royal Palm Beach

Update: With the owners response, I can appreciate things can go wrong and very well could have been a one off issue and don't feel negatively impacting reviews is the right way forward, especially for a small business. They owned it, want to make it right and therefore willingly give 4 stars as a result.

This is a tough review to write. We heard such good things about this place we really wanted to try it for the first time and went around 6:20pm on Saturday, and even stated we were first time customers. They were busy and understaffed and that's completely understandable, we are very patient. But after and hour and a half and the dining room down to just us and another family that came in after us but got food before us, we finally asked to check on our order. 10 minutes later, my wife went to the counter.

We kept getting told how busy they were, meanwhile pick up orders were going out the door ahead of dine in, ahead of first time potential customers. The final straw happened after we saw our order ticket was still at the back of the stack. Every new order kept pushing our ticket further and further to the back. At the 1:40 minute mark, my wife and I now desperately hungry learned our order still wasn't even started. Had they even started it at that point, it would have been another 20 min at minimum.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to try it, and more so, probably won't give it a second chance as a result. We are very very patient and understanding but closing in on 2 hours for a pizza and strkmbolli, as first time potential customers, just won't do it 😥 The garlic knots we did happen to get (placed at the same time as our mains mind you),...

I was passing by and i saw that they opened and so i stopped to try the food and let me tell you that i am very very happy that i stopped.The new ownership changed the whole place upside down from the decoration to the menu.I tried their meat lovers pizza that its called The mish and i was to die for.Crust thin and crispy just spot on, sauce was just the right amount not overdoing it and the meats that they use were delicious.I had some garlic bread that the owner served to me it was a new recipe that they were trying and i hope they implement it in the menu because it was the best garlic bread i ever tasted.Honestly one cannot explain enough their experience through a comment but i will let you know one thing for Sure that its worth going to eat not only trying the pizza.Amazing staff and ambient as well so please just go and try it for youself and i guarantee you will not be disappointed.Thanks a lot to the new staff and owner that took care of me they won a...

I’m always looking for new places to try instead of getting the usual pizza 🍕 nearby I took a little longer drive to get here but worth it. I ordered pick up all the times I came here and every time the food was so delicious ! I ordered the NY style pizza & Baked Ziti pasta that has now become my go to meal every time I go. The pizza is so delicious I can’t find the word to explain its just perfection! My very picky sibling who is very particular when it comes to food initially was hesitant to try but has shared with me he looks forward to coming more often so we will be slowly trying out more items on the menu soon.
