We ordered 3 double bacon jalapeño cheddar burgers without buns and brought them home to eat for supper on 1-27-20. They didn't have jalapeños or the sauce that goes on them. They gave us cheese sauce instead of the correct sauce. We only discovered they were wrong after going all the way home with them. We called and spoke with the manager and she said she made them and she apologized and said come back the next day after 4:00 and she would make new ones for us and she would write my daughter's name down. When we called the next day after 4:30 to get them to make them in time for my husband to go by and get them a woman who claimed to be the district manager said we can't be calling in fogey orders and said they wouldn't fix it for us and said my daughter's name wasn't written down. She said to call back in 15 minutes when the regular manager would be back. So we called again and she said she told us the night before we could have 3 frostys or some cookies but not the burgers we paid $19.87 for. We told her we don't need those things because we're diabetic and that's not what we paid for. Then she said we could get a chili cheese fry and again that's not what we paid for and we don't even eat potatoes! And when my husband got there they told him we could get one meal but not the whole order again and he told them to just keep it. They told a paying customer(my husband)he needed to leave. In the meantime I had corporate on the phone and they told me that the district manager for that location is not even a woman and the District manager is a man. So both the district manager and the other manager that made them wrong in the first place just outright lied about everything. The regular manager is usually nice to us ALWAYS so I know the one claiming to be district manager made her say what she said. Someone on the corporate number said the district manager and the owner will be made aware of this and it would be straightened out. I really hope the owner appreciates us as customers who spend our hard gotten money at their place of business and will do the right thing. I'm sure they want what they pay for. This was not right and I don't expect to be treated in such a horrible way. And I would think that they wouldn't run customers off telling them they need to leave. There was some business lost because of this happening also because my father in law was gonna order something but wouldn't because my husband was told to leave. This seems like bad business practices to me and is not a nice way to run a business at all. The ones that did this need very severely punished for making the business lose money and look bad. I wouldn't allow my employees get by with this kind of wrongdoing. This really upset me because this was my money getting taken for the wrong thing and my aggravation of being done wrong by being lied to about making it right the next day. I hope I see the manager so I can let her know I thought she wanted to be good to us. And that we...
Read moreThis Wendy's unfortunately is a mixed bag. Upon entrance the first thing you notice is the dingy carpet. Brings that "older than dirt" carpet that plagues just a few Wendy's locations. The restrooms were not the typical one toilet restroom but instead two urinals and at least one stall. The restroom looked clean upon entrance but the urinals smelled like they haven' been cleaned in months.
The saving grace for this Wendy's location was the customer service a d the quality of food. I usually always order Jr. Hamburgers no pickle extra mayo, with the bums toasted. I usually get blank stares and it takes them a minute or two to figure out what I'm exactly getting and then an equal time to get it rung in. My cashier (thinking she was a manager) happily rung up my order with no issues and went straight to the kitchen to tell them I wanted my buns toasted. Our order was promptly served. My wife's fries were hot and my sandwiches were made right. A note on my HAMburgers I am about 50 percent of the time other Wendy's locations get them wrong by making Mr cheeseburgers. My sandwiches were great.
So, this is a Wendy's we went to while we were out and about from our hometown so we will only return if we are out that way. The nasty carpet and the smell in the restrooms were my only complaints besides having no self serve drink station in the lobby. I still hive this place 4 starts because of great customer service and the quality...
Read moreIf you’ve recently been in any kind of burn accident and have any kinds of blisters or anything covering over HALF your body, face included don’t go to Wendy’s in Royston because they will treat you like some drug addict. I have recently had a very bad accident and have been dealing with recovering from that. I haven’t left the house much since it happened out of embarrassment because my face is disfigured now. And the one time I was brave enough to do so I was treated with no respect and their attitude was even worse. I was polite. Paid for my food. And I asked for mayo , he gave me 1 single mayo packet. I asked for more and said it wasn’t enough that I had 3 meals and it was for the fries the the look on the boys face was rude just like his attitude. Nothing about them was welcoming at all. When I am finally healed I will be going back up there to speak to a manager because got knows I won’t be back out again until I am healed all the way because I just can’t imagine treating someone that rudely because people assume the absolute worst about people. I left in tears because I was so embarrassed because they just made me feel so bad by the time I left. Embarrassing isn’t even the word for it. Corporate will be getting a phone call...
