La Chiquita — Restaurant in Russellville

I placed in order over the phone just like I normally do but this time I got my husbands burrito wrong and I had to call them back and ask for them to change it. I spoke to the manager and asked her if she would replace it with beef chimichunga instead of the fajita burrito . She told me since I already placed the order 10 mins ago I couldn't change it and I asked her why that was and she said than she would loose food product which I understood but I just asked her if she could just change it and she told me flat out No and had an attitude so I had an attitude right back at her. Than she proceeds to tell me that I would have to pay for what I ordered and I told her that I didn't want the fajita burrito so she said that she will void the whole order and throw away the food. Mind u I had 3 meals on there. So she told me I wasn't welcome to come back or place any orders anymore just because I refused to pay for the order and for my attitude . What I don't understand is why would she not replace my order with the burrito I wanted and just throw away one meal instead of 3 meals. I was livid with her and I had no idea that they would have someone like her running the restaurant. Mind u she was very rude to me so I wasn't going to respect someone that was just plain out hateful to me. I've been coming to that restaurant for years and it was my favorite place and everyone knew me by name and I've always had good customer service . This wasn't something I ever even did. I just asked her to do it for me this one time especially since I've been coming there for years . I didn't think it would be in issue until she made it an issue. All I have to say is I hope the owner sees this and understand that I never intended for things to go wrong I was just asking for them to change one item for me. It turned out now I'm not even welcomed. A customer that's been for years and been coming there for years and I get told not to come back. I came in with high hopes from the reviews I read. My margarita was fine, about what I expect from a middle of the road Mexican joint. The chips and salsa were pretty good, and I got a salsa refill without asking. I tried 4 different tacos and the steak sopas and all were well below average in taste and quality. The sopas was essentially a fried shell, covered in refried beans and a dollop of sour cream. There may have been some meat on there. The meat on the tacos was above average on fat content (i had to spit out 3-4 bites) and the flavors were unappealing. I didn't finish any of the tacos which I don't think I've ever done before. Service was ok, speed about average, and the host was nice when I came in but too busy on her phone to say goodbye when I left. It was pretty busy, which may have contributed, but overall I was less than impressed. On the upside, the prices were low, but unfortunately they matched the quality...

I ordered the grilled corn and zucchini enchiladas with cheese sauce. They let me add spinach. All of the veggies were freshly grilled and didn’t feel like it had been sitting around for a while. The cheese sauce was not your typical sauce. It tasted freshly made and didn’t harden after 5 mins of not stirring it with a chip to break up the layer on top. The entire meal was really good. I would come back just for the food! For my drink I ordered a cantarita. Tasted like grapefruit heaven. I think they used squirt as the mixer? I drank the large by myself and shared another large.
