Not your typical Mexican restaurant layout. Feels a little bit like a diner. Service was great. Had 3 different people check on me while I was there multiple times. I ordered the vaquero, mostly because I was in the mood for melty cheese. The food came out within 5 minutes. Not a great indication of freshly cooked. The "melty" cheese was not. In fact, it was almost cold. It came out on a sizzling plate, so after a few minutes, it did melt, and was delicious. I just wish there was a bit more. The shrimp were definitely previously cooked and thrown on the hot plate. I suspect everything was. All the being said, it was pretty tasty. The surprise came when I forgot there was bacon in it, which was a first for me at a Mexican place, but it totally worked. The salsa up front is way too watery. All in all it was good, inexpensive, and fast.

We ate there for the first time yesterday (12/2/2024). My wife had a chimichanga and I had the lunch special #1 which consisted of a chili relleno (poblano chili), a taco, rice, beans, salad and some guacamole. The food was beautifully presented and it was very good. I really like the taste of a poblano chili but it seems that most restaurants use Anaheim or similar. My only complaint was that the music was too loud for my wife and I to converse in normal conversation. Otherwise, I was very impressed with my first visit there.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is hands down the BEST Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to! The food is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned — every bite is ammmmazing. The staff is friendly and the vibe is warm and inviting. You can tell they truly care about quality and service. I can’t recommend this place enough. We'll be coming back again and again! Edit: We went back. Still amazing 🤩

Opening a new restaurant is NOT for the faint of heart only, the owner's of Toro through excellent food ,service and atmosphere have executed a plan that should make them a permanent fixture in Russellville. Their food is fresh and delicious. My recent lunch of a stuffed poblano pepper, taco and guacamole was outstanding. They're hot sauce and pico de gallo is absolutely delicious. Their prices are very reasonable only, on top of that they offer discounts to seniors, law enforcement military, first responders and nurses. This is an establishment that invests in their community so Russellville invest in Toro's. Toro welcome to the...

This place was amazing!! I always read reviews when in a new area and couldnt believe all the great reviews. And they were spot on. The food was amazing seasoned (which is hard to find) in any type of restaurant) the salsa is your first impression going mexican and it was great amazing, now my favorite salsa. The two plates we ordered fajitas and chimichangas were so tasty and i had to eat all of it. Even the rice and beans had flavor instead of just being bland like most restaurants. We will be returning again again. Keep up the amazing food and...
