Dear Starbucks Team,
I’m writing to express my deep gratitude for something that may not always be visible on the surface but has meant the world to me: the sense of safety, comfort, and welcome I felt each time I walked into your store during one of the most difficult periods of my life.
At a time when everything felt uncertain and heavy, your space became more than just a coffee shop—it became a safe haven. Whether it was the friendly smile from the barista at the counter, the warm atmosphere, or just having a place to sit and breathe, Starbucks became my refuge. In those quiet moments with a cup in hand, I found a little peace. And sometimes, that small comfort made all the difference.
I don’t think any of your team members knew what I was going through, but their kindness and consistency helped me feel less alone. That’s a powerful thing. Creating a space where someone feels safe—especially during their hardest days—is no small act. It speaks to the culture you’ve built and the values you uphold. I’ve been to Starbucks all over…Russellville, Conway and Little Rock of Arkansas. I live in Arkansas. I’ve also been to Alabama, Tennessee and Florida and visited Starbucks there. All are spreading love and encouragement. I’ve been super impressed.
So thank you—from the bottom of my heart—for being there when I needed somewhere to simply...
Read moreLet me start this by saying I only go to local coffee shops even though Starbucks is closer to my house. I prefer to support local businesses because they thrive off of our business. I came through this Starbucks on a day I was having an emotional morning. My makeup was a disaster, hair in a messy bun, etc. and I pulled through said my order quietly and drove to the window. They weren’t very busy at all. I had to wait a second for mine to be finished since the inside was more busy than the drive thru. Hunter stayed at the window with me and asked me how my day was going, what I had planned for the day, and wished me the best day. It’s not a lot for some people, but it meant the world to me. My day was a lot better from that point on. I’m so grateful he cared enough about me as a person versus just a customer getting coffee. I got local, personalized service at a place that typically focuses on getting people in and out. Hunter is a keeper for sure. I know whether he stays at Starbucks or not, he will go far in life and will be an asset to any company he...
Read moreI went in to get my coffee via drive-thru today 3/23/25 Receipt # 734016 and the service via the drive-thru was awful. I showed her my phone to scan the Starbucks points and I told her I was going to pay card. She then proceeded to tell me that my payment didn’t go through. I NEVER gave her my payment yet. All I did was give her my reward point scan. So I thought maybe I let her scan the wrong thing. So I’m showing it to her again and rudely she said she already scanned that and needs me to pay. I was like okay no need to be rude. Her tone was disrespectful. It was a blonde highlight on her hair, she didn’t even have a name tag on when she needs to, specially with rude service.. I told her she doesn’t need to be disrespectful and while I handed her my payment she proceeded to say with an attitude she not being rude. And gave me my stuff and closed the window while I was still talking. She shouldn’t be in the window if she doesn’t like interacting with customers. Specially when I was being nice until she spoke to me...
