We travel across the country with our careers, so we've had plenty of opportunities to have good Italian cuisine! Don't let the outside fool you, authentic Italian cuisine inside. Come hungry and be careful not to fill up on the good bread! Although the bread is delicious the main course is well worth the wait! Waitress messed up putting in my order. 😔 I ordered spinach ravioli and received spinach tortellini. No worries, as the manager corrected it and left the tortellini at the table for me to pick at. I will say the tortellini was just alright but the ravioli had much better flavor! It is obvious that they use fresh spinach it is bright green and flavorful! My husband had the eggplant Parmesan which was three-quarter to an inch thick each slice with three slices. Well-proportioned! He said the eggplant was just short of perfect. Crispy on the outside and not mushy on the inside yet flavorful he said he could taste the eggplant which is rare!

We also ordered a pizza to go for later meals throughout the week. We got the Philly cheesesteak. I do have to say it was lacking flavor. Although the toppings were well-proportioned, it just seemed like something was missing. Without having sauce on it like it needs a cheese sauce or something.

As my husband was running the credit card I looked behind me and was like ooooh strawberry cheesecake is it too late to add a piece, I asked. Gentleman behind the register said it's on the house. Bonus! Come out and support a family owned,...

We ate here last Saturday night. We spend many of our weekends motorcycling in Arkansas and often spend a night in Russellville. Having read the reviews for Venezias, we decided to try it. When we drove up to the restaurant, we saw that the restaurant itself is a former fast food building; this gave us cause to rethink whether or not we really wanted to eat here (we have had some pretty mediocre meals at Russellville restaurants). It was early and there were only a few cars in the parking lot. (The restaurant across the street looked very busy already). When we got inside the building, we found the atmosphere to be quite delightful and the staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. The food? We each ordered the spaghetti with the works - i.e. sauce with meatballs, mushrooms, sausage, etc. and we shared a Greek salad. We had tiramisu for desert. The food was fantastic! While we were eating, I glanced around the room at some of the other entrees being served and everything looked amazing! We were told by our waitress that the restaurant is owned by three men from Albania (I guess that explains the Greek salad in an Italian restaurant) - and they know how to cook! My only suggestion is that, when ordering, you consider sharing an entree (the portions are very generous and I was absolutely stuffed when we left). Will we...

What a great experience! My wife and I were on a short visit to Russellville and wanted a restaurant to celebrate her birthday.

The staff welcomed us at the door and seated us right away. We were surprised at how extensive the menu is. We had snacks at our hotel before so we skipped on appetizers.

She decided on the Seafood Venezia's after some discussion with our delightful waitress. I had the Shrimp Risotto. The entrees come with a soup or salad so it was just as well that we skipped the appetizers.

The creamy tomato basil soup was very tasty. The only mishap of the evening was that there was one portion of soup when we ordered but they made up a second batch and the second portion arrived at the table after the entrees.

The entrees were steaming hot and huge portions. My wife doesn't like shrimp so they substituted extra scallops with no upcharge. The flavor of both dishes was excellent. We were too full for dessert but one of the waitresses insisted that we take a complimentary piece of cake home with us.

Cute atmosphere. Delicious warm, fresh bread with good marinara sauce. They keep it coming too! Calamari and fried ravioli were obviously freshly made with delicate, crispy coating. I asked for lamb chops medium rare, but they came out rare/seared. The veggies and risotto they came with were delicious though. Daughter ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs. The sauce was a little sweet. Husband got Chef's Combo and it was good, as well as the house chianti, so was son's Tour of Sicily. Other son's order of chicken fettuccini alfredo was good but needed some salt. Child's pizza was good with nice crust and sauce. They were out of a few choices on the wine and beer menu. The tiramisu was a nice balance of creamy and sweet. The filling for the cannoli was a little too sweet. Tue chocolate mousse cake was a little dry. Overall experience and flavors were appreciated and we would definitely go back to explore more of the menu. Friendly, attentive staff!

I really wanted to give 5 stars. I always have high expectations for Italian food since I was born and raised in Italy. The mussels marinara were OK. I definitely would not order again. I’m not sure if it was a bad batch of mussels or what. The mussels fell apart and had a strange taste. The marinara on the mussels was the best part. For dinner I ordered the Classic Carbonara. The dish was satisfying and plentiful. I will say carbonara varies to what region of Italy a person is from. This dish was slightly different than I’m used to but still very tasty. For dessert I ordered the limoncello. It was absolutely amazing! Not a strong lemon flavor, not too sweet (no buttercream, whipped and perfect!) I came in for the tiramisu but they were out. So I got the limoncello. It did not disappoint! The staff we’re all very friendly and professional.
