McDonald's — Restaurant in Ruston

This is quite possibly the dirtiest McDonald's I've been to. I'm not talking about superficial dirty with a few pieces of paper and drink spilled about because the employees are busy. There was a feeling of gross permanence in it. It's just dark, dirty, and greasy all over. A random 14" television played a fuzzy picture in the order area and attempted to cover a dinner plate-size hole in the drywall. The floors were so greasy I could feel my feet slipping when I walked in the door all throughout the dining area. The drink station was filthy. The ketchup dispensers had no ketchup in them, (at 8 am) but they had crusty ketchup covering the spouts and water-soaked leftover ketchup in the catch trays below them suggesting that ketchup has been in them in the past day or two. The employees, not overly friendly, but not overly rude, moved at a snail's pace, and were seemingly understaffed. The door to the mini-fridge that held the milk and parfaits was left standing open the entire time I waited in line to order. It was standing open again when I had to return to the cashier to ask for an item left out of our order. We told the cashier we wanted dine-in when she asked our preference, but we were given our order in bags. Perhaps they didn't want to clean any trays? We had to wipe our table to eat as the people seated ahead of us were very messy. The food was what you'd expect from any McDonald's, though: low quality and over-processed. So, I wasn't let down in that department. I knew what to expect there. I don't even care that our order was messed up. They were very busy, and I understand people make mistakes. But, the level of gross in this place is unacceptable. I can't believe any business owner would accept these conditions in his/her business. There is a Whataburger within sight and just east of this place on the service road. I wish we'd have taken a gamble...

If I could give this establishment zero stars I would. First, off the building looked closed, there was no light on and looked very run down and shabby. The whole place looked very old and sketchy, it looked like no one attended to it in ages. They have a big yellow “OPEN” sign on their roof that’s very tacky. Went through drive through and the ordering machine was broken and stuck on an order for coffee, was plastered with stickers and very gross and unpleasant to look at. The ordering menu was outdated. Was in line for twenty minutes before we got our food, didn’t even get the fries we ordered, they charged us for mayonnaise and couldn’t even count out the change. Staff was very slow and took ten minutes just to get the car ahead a cup of coffee. I ordered two burgers and only could eat one, it gave me food poisoning and threw the other one away. Even though the options for pick-up inside or curbside are still in the app, this location has decided to wait until a customer arrives to tell them drive-thru only. The drive-thru line is insane, so I decided that I would get the order from inside. As I approached the door all I could hear was it's in the drive-thru multiple times. As this is unusual for an employee to just blurt out, I thought she may have been talking to the person at the door, which she let in, and closed the door. As I stood there trying to figure out what was going on, she turned around and opened the door, " It's in the drive-thru," nothing else. I attempted to cancel my order, but because I had already clicked pick-up inside and pay I had to wait in the drive-thru, to which they attempted to hand me the wrong order, but when they handed me the correct order, it was cold. The employee telling people it was in the drive-thru, could have easily greeted customers with a smile and taken orders at...
