The service was impeccable! I have never had service so great! It feels like I finally got my good karma back from all my good deeds in life just in that one customer service Interaction here. Thank you for being so patient and kind. I stopped by on my way back into Texas and went through the drive thru. I’ve never been here before but It was a great experience. And the foods and beverages I ordered… ahhhh so good! I had a frozen hot chocolate recommended to me. Yum! I also had a Cuban sandwich and beignets with pumpkin and strawberry syrup. Now some of y’all are not going to like my next statement… But the beignets were better than café du monde’s. So hot and flaky almost like a croissant and the syrups were both delicious. You know that one movie scene? I’ll have what she’s having. My belly is now full and happy. All the food was hot. I know this will be a nostalgic meal for me and my family for years to come. It made my brain happy like I could cry right now. Okay enough, I’ll end with this. What are you waiting on? Go on go to PJ’s and get in on this. No pics of the sammich, it’s just an empty...
Read moreWe were passing through and had stopped for fuel next door. I am a sucker for a coffee shop and trying new and different ones wherever I travel. Never had been to a PJ’s and will NEVER go back. The girl at the register was super put out because I changed my mind from a iced white chocolate latte to a white chocolate mocha latte. She failed to explain this when I ordered and did not volunteer to make a new one by no means. She instead looks me in the eye and says “next time if you want that coffee maybe you should go to Starbucks.” I am always a nice person but I could not help myself and told her I will definitely be going to Starbucks next time instead of PJ’s. Terrible customer service and there was no white chocolate to my mocha for sure! I was floored by...
Read moreThe cafe au lait was just okay, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the beignets. I grew up around New Orleans, so I know my beignets, and I know you need a fryer to make them. When I didn't see one here, I expected the worst. Instead, what we got was a plate of beignets that was hot and fresh with a slightly crispy exterior coated with powdered sugar and a soft perfect interior that was a cross between a fresh croissant and a traditional beignet. I'd have to say that, given the choice between this and a traditional beignet, I'd actually choose this one. (Waiting for lightning to strike me)
I'd give the beignets a strong 5 stars, atmosphere a 4, and the cafe...
