This used to be a great place to come for coffee and breakfast but the last few months it has been horrible. There is never the same people working so I don’t know if they have a problem with turnover, but I guess that’s the problem. There are still a few friendly employees but more often now you get someone who is rude and seems to hate their job. There is also an issue when you go through the drive thru that you get drinks that are not full and food that looks like someone just threw it in the bag. I also know there are still supply issues but let someone know that what they ordered is not available when they place the order and not when they are picking it up with no offer to refund or replace it. I have made the mistake a few times of going through the drive thru and not checking the orders before I leave only to find out something is missing. I don’t make that mistake anymore. Several times I have ordered oatmeal and when I get to the window they give me the bag with none of the items that go in the oatmeal. No nuts, dried fruit, etc. . Today that was the case and I asked if I could substitute and get a packet of blueberries instead, which actually costs more. The person at the window told me “she was pretty sure those were out to” and did not even bother to check if the actually were out. Then she just closed the window and walked away. Read moreWaited for over 23 minutes just for my order to be taken. So sad. I love Starbucks coffee as I frequent the coffee shop almost every morning. But after I had a bad experience, I have refused to go to Starbucks since then. I spent my money where I am respected and valued. Poor and unfriendly service and very unprofessional attitude especially coming from supposedly senior staff and/or supervisor. Although, many of the staff were friendly and they mostly greet customers by name. I waited in the line for over 23 minutes. The staff that supposed to take my order was busy whispering to other staff after I brought to their attention the time I have been standing in the line. THIS WAS NOT A NONE BUSY DAY AND I WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THE LINE. After, another staff felt the need to assist me with my order despite that she was the only staff filling all the coffee orders, suddenly, this staff now decided he wants to take my order asking her to leave that he is now ready to take my order. Read moreI usually visit Starbucks in Bossier closer to my job however I had to drive to Ruston and decided to go to their Starbucks instead so it would be free for my mom apparently different stores carry different products not only that I asks for brown sugar oat milk espresso hot no ice with 2 extra pumps of brown sugar I received a blonde espresso no extra anything so I was about 5 minutes away and tasted it and realized it wasn’t what I ordered went back and told them exactly what I wanted the made the exact same thing again remind you I get the same thing in Bossier no problem no issues Ruston location is a joke and need new staff that’s more educated on how to make drink orders.
