I came here Friday March 21, 2025 a few minutes before 11 PM with a young man whom I’ll call WillY for further reference. We sat at one of the high tables close to the bar. After sitting for about 10 minutes with not even an acknowledgment, I asked the lady at the table next to us (whom I’ll refer to as Gina for further reference) if we had to go up to the bar to get menus etc., and she said no they came to the table. We waited a few more minutes to no avail. There were two waitresses/bartenders behind the bar. One was a slim lady (whom I’ll refer to as KindY for further reference) and another one was a bit heavier(whom I’ll refer to as RudeY for further reference). We sat and watched them continue to service people at the bar that came in after us. Then RudeY walked past us and went to another table. Gina, realizing we were in need of assistance, went to RudeY and said something to her and she came over to our table, (clearly annoyed that she had to be told how to do her job) and asked did we need help with something. We’re sure not here just to enjoy the view RudeY!! Why this is even a question just baffled me but what baffled me even more was the fact that there was no greeting. I said hi thinking this would signal something in RudeY’s brain to greet us but NOPE!….She asked the same question to which I said oh I was saying hi and she said yeah and asked the same question. WillY, noticing that I wasn’t getting anywhere with Rudey, asked for a drink and menus. I was truly flabbergasted by her unprovoked behavior/aggression towards me. The menus were immediately bought over however, no one came back to take our order so WillY went up to KindY at the bar and paid for the drink and we left. The next place we went to we were IMMEDIATELY greeted. Note to Owner/Owners: As I look over the reviews that span back years, it doesn’t seem that much has been done to change the negative impression by so many regarding your establishment. I’d implore you to have your waitresses do a class on proper customer service 101 and correct the inconsistent customer service because you can be here today and gone tomorrow. Every person that comes through your doors should be treated with appreciation and respect since they’re the ones that pay for your lights to remain on. Also, It is not a good feeling as an African American woman to leave your establishment, wondering if RudeYs behavior was racially motivated or not. Is this really how you want your business to be remembered? To ALL who see this…. I recommend you take your money elsewhere and not support places that don’t treat their...
Read moreThis place is absolutely terrible. I went their to have a beer and get a six pack. The draft beer was reasonably priced 3.50 a draft but when asked the price of my 6pk it was 21 dollars... I went less than 2 miles down the road at rutters and got the same 6pk for 11.69... I have never been charved over 14 for a 6 pack of craft beer... All their 6 packs of craft beer are HIGHLY overpriced. Do not ever get to go beer from here. Go to the wharf where a mix 6 is 13 or go to Rutgers where their craft 6pks are 11.69 average (perpetual). Will never step foot in this bar again. Will make sure to tell all my friends and co-workers how badly overpriced this place is. You lost alot of...
Read moreWe first started going to the Pour House back when it was still Mulligans. Back then, I would've given it 5 stars. It's not something that happened overnight, but rather a progression - now, it's just an average 3.
The wings aren't as good as they used to be. Less sauce, and less crispy. The beer options have also dwindled over the years. They no longer have blue moon available, yet still have the neon sign for it in one of the windows.
Now don't get me wrong, the wait staff is fantastic. My order has always been right, and they're super welcoming and friendly.
Final thoughts: I'll keep coming back on occasion, but I'll keep missing the...
