McDonald's — Restaurant in Rutland City

There was a sign that said kiosk only, so I used the kiosk. I like machines as much as the next guy, but it was MUCH MORE COMPLICATED than saying the words "McChicken and large fries please" to a human. Also didn't prevent a miscommunication on my wife's order (No sauce was clearly on the receipt) but the tiny inconvenience was more than offset by complimentary nuggets. Offered by a human.

Call me again when we all have chips in our hands and can just save and select from our personal top five, but right now, the human beats the guy with the metal head.

Though despite the sign, the manager took every other order (I'm a rule follower, and nobody was behind the register when I walked in) while we were there, so they CAN take your order. My advice, do that.

I am a freshman Rutland High School and I like to go to the mcdonalds after school to hang out and eat some food. But there is one cashier who annoys the hell out of me. He gets my order wrong, doesn't speak in a clear voice, and gets frustrated even when there is nothing wrong with what I ordered. For example I asked for a "medium French vanilla iced coffee". That's usually all you have to say but then he asked me sweetened or unsweetened, which makes no sense at all so I said sweetened even though I didn't know what he was talking about. THEN he asked me how much cream and sugar, I was pissed at this point so I said "I don't know just the regular amount. I was cleaning my 96 yr old house as she's a hoarder. After digging and sifting through tons of piled up stuff I came across Ed a half eaten happy meal with French fries and a half of a cheese burger still in the box. I looked at this vintage meal box and searched for a date as the left over food still looked like it had only been there from this morning. The date I found on the box stamped 2002 took me back with surprise. I took out the French fries and half of burger and it was as solid as a rock from the ground yet it still looked as if it had only been there from that day....i tried to break it with a hammer and was unable to!!!
