My fiancé and I was craving crab and this was our first time eating crab in Sacramento because were from the Bay Area. We decided to try this place based off of reviews that we saw from other crab places that everyone was raving about this place. I honestly don’t think people out in Sacramento know what a real crab boil is. Based off of reviews the food flavor was good but the fact that we ordered combo 4 and it stated that it feeds up to 2-3 people...yea if they want to eat nothing but mussels, clams and sausage. There were 4 crab legs in the bag and my fiancé paid market price for king crab to only get 4 crab legs. We could have went and bought crab from winco and made our own for a lesser price and had more crab. We also ordered the calamari which was good but they only gave us one sauce. Didn’t understand that at all especially for the amount of calamari we received you would think it would be more sauce. Also the shrimp was not clean it was still poop in the shrimp. First time eating here and might...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. My family got their food and I sat there and waited for my food for 20 mins before finally getting up to ask where my food was since our server never came back around. He went to the back to check and came and told me they hadn't started cooking my food, my in-laws had ordered a side of fries and they hadn't started cooking the fries either. When my food finally came out they told my in-laws that their fries would be comped, I asked if my food would be comped and they told me they couldn't comp my food, so I told him to I didn't want it and he took it away. I find it ridiculous that they would rather throw away food that's not paid for than make a customer happy. The servers were completely ignoring us the whole time we were there, my wife had to ask multiple times for salt. There is no way I'll ever go back here, the customer service...
Read moreThe food is great; however, the customer service was horrible. On Saturday, 9/22/18 I called ahead to see what time they closed and was told 10pm. We arrived at 9:07pm, walked to the counter, and told the young lady that was hosting, “Seating for two please.” She told us we stop seating at 9:18pm because the kitchen needs to start cleaning up. We were completely dumbfounded, especially with the odd time she gave us. The young lady stood there and gave us a blank look as if we’d say, “Oh ok, we’ll order to go.” Nonetheless, I replied stating, “We arrived at 9:07p and it’s now 9:12p, it’s not 9:18p?! The young lady got an attitude, grabbed two menus and said “Whatever, follow me.” Despite her behavior, we stayed and dined in as intended. I did take into consideration that she was young and possibly inexperienced; however, with that attitude she will not go far in a customer...
