New to the area, and meztisa, I know my Filipino food and rarely will eat at a Filipino restaurant because I find the quality of the food so poor compared to my family's cooking. I was dying for some longanisa and decided to give this spot a shot. I ordered the longasilog and was so pleased with my food and the friendly service! The longanisa tasted super good, like it was grilled. It wasn't greasy as I honestly expected it to be. The garlic rice was awesome! Very garlicky and tasted just like you get in the Philippines. They also know how to cook their eggs properly! You would think more people would know how to cook eggs without completely browning and drying out the edges (I have had the absolute worst fried eggs at Thai restaurants). My eggs were totally soft like I cook at home, see photo, and the yolks were gooey as they are supposed to be! The tomato and cucumber slices were cold and fresh. If they keep this quality up I will def be a regular.
Service was very polite. The person who took my order did not hear me clearly over the phone, so my order was wrong initially. I got fish instead of longanisa. It looked really good though! I almost didn't go back š! I simply let him know of the error, and he very kindly corrected it.
It's nice that they have a little store attached. They could do a lot more with it though! I also would recommend that they offer more bottled drinks. I always need milky coffee with my longanisa or tosino, so I went home and made my own coffee. I would suggest they stock up on some beverages like Philippine mango juice, coconut beverages like those ones with the nata de coco, and milk tea & coffee. This place has so much...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just wanna share my disappointment yesterday. I called and they accepted my order for our potluck supposed to be but when I went to the store to pickup my orders the store was closed and there's a note on the door "No Power" . I tried to call no answer, I wait a little bet still no one is in there. I decided to go to work and after an hour they're calling me so I ended up asking them if that what they usually do if there's no power? like no cares if costumers come and pick-up orders or what. The lady on the phone keep insisting of we don't have wifi that's why we can't call you? now my question Is that the right thing to do? no emergency phone to call costumers that ordered has been cancelled? because for me that's so unprofessional way. It's a waste of time, gas and effort. If I should known I could get...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreQuality has gone down. And when you complain they have excuses and no refunds rather than a solution. There is someone new cooking the Lumpia I was told- and this person basically fries the wrap, there is a pinch of tasteless meat inside. The Lumpia is way too expensive to be this small (it should actually be illegal to get away with this portion size for the price). Theyāre basically stealing your money- no quality, considerate portion or care put into the food any longer. And from the looks of other reviews they really need to consider the complaints- they have a pattern. Will never return. People work hard for their money and we are exchanging it for service...
