Banh Mi Mi — Restaurant in Sacramento

We recently tried the new Bahn Mi spot near our house, and overall, it was a pretty good experience! My husband and I ordered the Dac Biet “Special,” & the BBQ pork sandwich. Both were tasty, but we preferred the Special more since the BBQ pork had less meat. We also got the Ocean Pina Colada smoothie, which was alright—nothing to rave about, but refreshing.

We were excited to have a Bahn Mi place closer to home since we usually make the drive to South Sac, so that was a nice bonus. However, we were bummed they ran out of roasted pork an hour after opening, which was what we originally came in to try.

A couple of things they could improve on: it would be helpful to have a clear explanation of what’s in the sandwiches on their menu board. We ended up having to check Yelp to figure out what were in the sandwiches and smoothies.

The shop itself is nice and cozy, with plenty of seating inside, though it seemed there was more outdoor seating available. The staff was super friendly, which added to the positive experience.

They have a lot of pretty interesting sandwiches so we’ll definitely be back to try some other ones...

Banh mi in Arden/Arcade? It's about time! I really wanted this place to be good. I was driving around and spotted this place, and I was so excited my husband and I stopped to check it out. The inside is pretty cute and very clean. 2 girls were behind the counter, one was busy working and th3 other was h3lping a customer. The menu is pretty small with about 6 sandwich choices and maybe 6 smoothie choices. We decided on the bbq pork banh mi and a pineapple coconut smoothi3. I placed the order and sat on a stool and waited. They were busy making what I assume was a decent sized pickup order because we were waiting kind of a long time for 1 sandwich and 1 smoothie. A couple more customers came in after us. When the order was finally ready we left and ate it in the car. The smoothie was sorta plain but alright. I took a bite of the sandwich and realized it was the wrong one. They gave us what I assume was the chicken satay instead of the bbq pork and we were not impressed. There was hardly anything on it. We would go back and try again and hopefully receive the correct...

On my very last Dr appt in sac. (live 2hrs away) had stopped at the light saw this sandwich shop so thought I'd go in for lunch, boy was that a mistake!!! Went in and about 7 customers were in line (6 had already ordered and 1 waiting ) and 1 enployee working, and she was not a happy camper. Waited 30 minutes for this darn sandwich, yes I know thats a long time to wait but I had been craving a banh mi for a week at this point and since I dont live anywhere near sac and really didn't want to go on a scavenger hunt for a sandwich I'd just wait ... Well that was a stupid decision cuz it sure didn't taste like any id had before in Santa Clara Co. Time wasted and stomach upset..
