Beto's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Sacramento

I have had a jonseing for betos carne asada fries since I came back from Reno about a year ago. not knowing all this time that there was a location right here in my neighborhood in sacramento. so tonight my ex wife and I went to betos here and ordered the carne asada fries to compare , and all seemed well until about halfway down the pile of deliciousness... we found the bottom layer of fries to be burnt.so I ride my bike back to exchange them for a fresh order of fries and was instantly met with an argument that I should have brought back a whole order of fries... mind you that the burnt half was cleverly hidden underneath all of the other ingredients and wasn't evident until after some carnage occurred on the good half on top. I was told quote " no you will eat the rest of the fries" I threw away the reminder of the order and I will be taking a trip to fn Reno this new year. the complete opposite review as the ones I wrote about...

I believe their quality of food and service has gone down drastically. I use to frequent this location often but now things aren’t great any more. I ordered a chile relleno because I had ordered it before and when I received it was cut in half. I had remembered they were small before so I decided to order 2 instead and to my surprise the chile was just cut in half 😆 quick way to make that money. I’m pretty upset and I will not return. People just go to the Howe and el Camino they seem to offer better food and service. Not sure if same owner but that’s a pretty big rip off. The food was pretty good but the customer service was weird. My bf ordered a burrito and then I ordered three tacos. The lady says "Two tacos?" And I show three fingers and say "No three tacos" and she says okay. When she brings the food she only has two tacos and she says "Two tacos?" And I'm like "No I ordered 3" and she goes to check if she has someone else's food. She comes back and says to my bf "You ordered 2 tacos" and sets them down.
