I went to California burrito on a Saturday night, and as soon as I approached the menu, it was apparent that the gentleman’s voice who had begun to take my order, sounded like he did not want to be there or serve me. No friendliness and negative demeanor—it was apparent that this was not where he wanted to be on a Saturday night.
As soon as I got to the window, the worker was still unfriendly and went though the motions and tried to do as little work as possible. I saw another employee sitting down and chatting with the employee “helping” me, and it was obvious that he was giving more attention to his co-worker, who was not working, more attention that I, the customer. I must assume California Burrito is more concerned with chit-chatting vs serving a paying customer.

Read moreWe went for lunch and the food was decent. The torta was a little hard to eat due to the meat not being cut, but was yummy. It was nice that they brought it to our table for us.
My son purchased a little toy for 50 cents from the dispenser. It was faulty and had a big crack in the balloon (it was a punch balloon) and therefore was unusable. I asked for the 50 cents back so he could get a new toy and I was told that the dispensers didn’t belong to the business. I asked if we could still get it back and then they could recoup the money from whomever owns the dispensers. She said no. When I asked for the manager, she said I could come back on Tuesday. I explained I’m visiting because my sister is in labor and won’t be here on Tuesday and could I have the manager’s phone number. She refused to give it to me.
It’s a shame that they would say “okay” and shrug their shoulders to receiving a bad review over 50 cents. But here...

We were told it was $52!! WHAT IN HELL DID WE ORDER!?!? I ordered a Enchilada & Taco Call Combo Plate. Uncle ordered a Combo Plate. I ordered an a la cart item. Got to window, cancelled single item. Combos are $16 some dollars before tax. So almost paying $20. W T F!?!? We got food. Opened it up and...... I have no idea what they gave me. It wasn't an Enchilada at all. It was once a wet tortilla, they filled it with what we thought was left over chicken fajitas. I pulled out massive chunks of green bell peppers, tomatoes and onion. No sauce of any kind. I tried the beans. They were burnt! Next up was the rice. Dry as the desert. I offered it to my dog. He looked and smelled. Then walked away. He wouldn't...
