Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Sacramento

I was so happy cold stone opened on freeport as it was closer to my house.. a trip to west sac was no longer needed... well guess its back to west sac....Ordered my daughter a birthday cake on Monday August 5th for Wednesday August 7th.. went to pick up the cake and it wasn't made.. the manager was called and he wanted me to come back in an hour so the can call in the cake decorator.. no go... then wanted to give me a $30 ready made cake in place of the $60 one my daughter wanted.. nope.. so I canceled the order and asked for a refund after my 11 year old was in tears. Went to place an order for a custom cake for a birthday was told I didn’t have to pay until the day of pickup was called less than 1 hour later by the same person who told me I didn’t have to pay until the pick up date to inform me that she called her manager/owner who stated it needed to be paid for prior to starting the cake. Went back same day to pay. One week later on the day of pickup the cake was not what I asked for and the owner response was “maybe the decorator didn’t read the paper”. I had to ASK for discount on my cake. Will never be buying a cake from here again. Professionalism is non existent when it comes to staff as well...

Placed online order to be picked up at 11:15 (opens at 11) there was a lock on the door at 11:20 when I arrived. Thought they might be closed down from the type of lock on the door. If had I not already ordered and paid I would have left. Owner pulls up at 11:34. Then proceededs to have a conversation with a neighboring merchant b4 opening the door.
