Lucky's Drive-in Sacramento — Restaurant in Sacramento

I didn’t plan to go to Lucky’s , I was just hungry for a burger meal. So I decided to travel 4 miles in the opposite direction, even tho there were other burger places close to where I was. I’m glad I did, upon entering the decor and the music took me back in time, like I was in my younger days growing up. My wife and I got the Lucky burger meal which is a burger, fries, and a shake. My wife also got chili in a cup, to eat with her fries. She also got the peanut butter shake. My wife enjoyed her food and commented that her food was delicious. I enjoyed my burger, with the thick slice pickles. I also got the cherry shake, plus the fries were crispy and delicious. As I was eating my wife started to sing along with the music, a sign that she was enjoying the food and atmosphere. We talked about a lot of things, and had a fun time. And if you like to eat outside there’s a enclosed place in the back with lots of seating, and also a real double decker bus which they are working on for future...

I am apparently easily influenced by advertising. Saw an ad on Instagram for Lucky’s Drive-in. Had never heard of it so I looked it up and thought “Isn’t that where the Hideaway is?” Come to find out they closed a while ago. Anyway, I figured who doesn’t like burgers I’ll check it out.

My wife and I stopped by and ordered 2 Lucky Burgers and a large fry to go. Total cost was right at $20. I got bacon on my burger as well. The burgers were good. I wouldn’t say it was the best burger I’ve ever had but it was a good quality burger. The bacon was lost in my burger. Didn’t seem to add anything. The fries were good as well. They are the kind that seem to have some kind of breading on the outside. Not my favorite style of fry but still good.

Over all I give the place two thumbs up. It is clean and bright, and it was all at a great price. The people working there were really nice and friendly. We will definitely be back again. I have to try their chili and...

The burgers and shakes were delicious especially the blackberry shake. Shakes come thick and you have to start with a shake spoon first. My wife had the bacon ranch burger and my brother had the bbq burger. They both said it was a delicious burger. I had the Lucky’s double and it did not disappoint. We also had the chili cheese fries and that is where our only disappointment came. The chili taste was not that great. I want to try the fries by themselves the next time we go and there will be a next time. My wife is allergic to tomatoes and this is the 1st burger place that doesn’t put tomatoes on unless you ask (thanks to the owners)😁. We can see this being our go to burger 🍔 place. Staff is awesome the place is super clean and I can’t say enough about it. We will definitely tell our family and friends to go there and have delicious food and a great atmosphere. The double decker bus is a must see. Cool new place...
