McDonald's — Restaurant in Sacramento

This location on Florin and Franklin is the worst McDonalds I have ever visited. 9/10 timed I come here the order is wrong. I'm not talking about forgetting to remove the pickle or anything....I'm talking about straight out giving me the wrong items, once I ordered a sausage mcmuffin without cheese and got it without sausage AND cheese. I order through the mobile app at the Broadway location 4 days a week without issue and the one time i tried to do it at this location they had no clue how to process it. They tried to tell me that mobile ordering is for just the order and that I still had to stop in and pay for it once I got to the location. This was a manager that told me this. Another time my boyfriend went to go pick up a cup of coffee for me from a mobile order and when he sat out at the curbside pickup for almost 30 min waiting for them they finally came out and told him he was supposed to go inside and check in before stopping there. If that's the case, which I know it's not, what's the point of the curbside pickup? Today, months later we're still having issues. Placed an order at the drive-through, they had us wait at one of the drive-thru stalls, and then they finally brought our order 15 minutes later it was wrong. We waited another 15 minutes for the correct order. The person bringing out the food didn't even seem to know what went where, she asked three other cars before she got to us if they had ordered what we had ordered . This is just disorganized this is really about bad management when it boils down to it. This is just an ongoing issue. I purposely avoid this McDonald's whenever possible even though it's the closest one to my house. I go out of my way whenever I can and go to another location because the service at this one has been...

Came in here almost every day for over a year. Probably the nicer people at McDonalds out of all of them in between, even though it's in a rough area. I run track for Sac State, and need a lot of calories so I usually spend $15+ on my way home from work. Like to go in so I can stretch from driving all the way from Lodi. Always respectful and friendly with everyone, social contract and everything. People working register are always chipper and bubbly. Asian guy is always so nice!

But man, I've got to say I've had it with this security guard. He literally stands there by the door and unlocks the bathroom for people. Pretty standard security guard duty. But every time hes there hes borderline picking fights with people. This guy will INITIATE conversations with a mother who has kids, seemingly because she seems stressed and vulnerable. Only to talk down to her and treat her like dirt.

This evening he seemed extra aggitated/hungover. I heard someone try to open the bathroom, and I looked over to see the security guard just watching him without saying anything. The guy went and asked the register people for a key and they pointed him to the guard. The guard unlocks the door and then YELLS "I told you no one is in there, we speak english here!" The guy trying to use the bathroom was a 40 something white guy with a combover.

I might find it all funny if I didnt have to hear this guy every day dumping on people. There are plenty of other McDonald's. I'll just stop in elk grove or something....

This is usually my go to McDonalds in the south along with the one on Meadowview by the 5. I had to write this review today though to make sure someone gets this message. I tried to call their landline but can not get through and I was unable to go back to the store because I was in a rush back to work. For lunch I ordered a double quarter pounder combo (as well as one for my husband and a 6 pc chicken nugget happy meal). I was taking a bite (I removed the bread patties because I didn’t want the extra carbs), when I noticed a weird looking paper on my burger patty. My burger had the wax paper used to separate meat patties. Which meant that the paper was fixed to the patty and cooked with it. It had a layer of cheese on it that would have easily camouflaged it if I kept the buns on. Usually everything is pretty well at this spot. Customer service is usually really good, speed of service as well is pretty good (there are times that take long but usually because it is super busy), one mc Donald’s I can name is always slow for no reason, it be just me in the drive thru and it take 20 minutes.
