This place was awful! Dirty, empty, a child running around in the back and then slamming the front door. I got my order fairly quickly. But the place was dirty and the soda fridge was empty. Bare walls. Can't hear the girl talking to you at the register because of a clear plastic hanging in front. Had to put my head down to the bottom near the counter to hear her. I don't remember Papa Murphy being so yucky. I remember getting these huge monster professionally wrapped pizzas with instruction cards on the bottom. I remember the pizza was Hella good. This was not good. The cheese bread is a joke! And disgusting. There were boxes of their store stock on the floors and not up on racks like they should be. With clothes lying on them. The area where they keep the ingredients was an absolute mess! At first, I thought maybe because they had gotten busy. But then thought shouldn't they be cleaning as they go? It really was dirty in there. The walls, glass on the front door, and the plastic between the register and the customer were filthy, food was everywhere. A lady who was older than the two girls who I'm assuming is their manager (or their mother?) Was there and all three had long hair and not one of them had their hair up!! The two making pizzas (the manager and girl) didn't have gloves on. I was instantly taken back when I first walked in there. My first impression was not good and had I not paid for my pizza online, I would have turned around instantly and left. Absolutely do not recommend going to this location. Whatever you do, don't go to this Papa Murphys! Burn out all your gas if necessary to go to a different location. I love Papa Murphy's and have been a regular customer since they came to Sac. My regular store was Elk Grove Blvd and they were very good. If they got your order wrong, they were quick to make it right. When I moved to South Sac I went to the closest location, believing the same quality of product and standards would be the same... Boy, was I wrong!! Each time I ordered from them the pizza was wrong, the crust bad and the service horrible. When I complained to management, that was a joke. Because they did worse than the staff. I believe in giving folks chances but this location abused all of them. The last straw was when I ordered online at 230pm for at 430pm pick up. Got there at 430 only to wait 15 minutes before being helped then have them tell me that they hadn't started my order. I waited another 30 minutes for them to make 2 pizzas. When I baked the pizzas the crust was thin and old tasting! I will never go back to that Papa Murphy's ever again, and if you want a pleasant experience and fresh pizza,...

Papa Murphy's is strictly a take and bake Pizzeria. All pizzas are made fresh to order just the way you like them. All ingredients are fresh and your pizza is made right before your eyes by the friendly Papa Murphy's staff. You choose size,crust, type of sauce and what toppings go on your pizza and the order in which they go on. Papa Murphy's also offer a variety of pre-packaged salads and take & bake desserts as well as a variety of bottled sodas to complete your meal. Finally, this review would not be complete if I did not mention two very important points. (1)Cleanliness: The pizza making area was very clean and organized and the staff made sure to wash their hands and put on gloves before handling any of the food items. (2)Price: In my opinion the prices are very affordable and does not take a chunk from your food budget. If that's not enough Papa Murphy's also offer daily specials that gives you a discount on their already low prices. Giving this establishment five stars was easy and my pleasure.
