I mean for this review to be expressed respectfully and constructively. However, the remarks below are bluntly forthright.
First, the pictures provided by Rally's of hot, fresh, juicy, mouthwatering burgers in no way resemble the actual product. Like, not at all, folks. Upon opening the wrapper, my initial reaction to what it is that I was about to consume was, "Oh no... please, dear God, no!"
Secondly, the visual observation that the burger was unappealing, unfortunately, was spot-on. The burger was so disgustingly salty that it was barely edible. It was a sodium overdose for sure. The meat was dry and practically tasteless. The patty was anything but juicy. I assume the meat was previously frozen and filled with preservatives. Clearly, it was the furthest thing from fresh.
Initially, the bun had some sort of form to it, but nothing like in the pictures. As soon as I grabbed the burger (practically just touched it), the bun sunk into a flat, doughy substance roughly one tenth of a centimeter thin.
I sit here nearly two hours after making the mistake of assuming it was suitable for human consumption. My stomach organ doesn't seem to know how to process this. It's sitting in my stomach, and it feels like heavy solidified concrete. All I can do at this point is double up on the Rolaids anti-acids and liquid Miralax laxatives while continually attempting to convince myself that I will not involuntarily forcefully expell it into the "Porcelain God." And, while this might sound amusing, I assure you, the feeling is not.
I am sincerely sorry this review is anything less than flattering. However, having read your reviews, many of whom leave only one or two stars, it brings confirmation that most customers share similar complaints, I felt it necessary and appropriate to add this review in hopes that potential customers will tred cautiously at their own discretion. In addition, my desire is that you would forward this correspondence to your corporate office and that someone would take the initiative to make drastic necessary improvements to your business, rather than simply respond with a public apology for...
Read moreOlder woman at the checkstand with long grey wavy hair was terrible. We wanted to sign up for a card to get a discount on cherries & she had me fill out the paperwork assuming I can get the discount instantly, & she looked at me & said it takes as long as when I enter your information to sign up. Okay why would I wanna sign up if I don’t get a discount on my groceries. Very unhelpful, we were holding up the line trying to get the sign up discount. We ended up paying full price cause she was messing with us & I swear she found it amusing. Asking us if we new anyone in town with a discount card number. Her whole demeanor was weird & she almost seemed like she was having fun toying with us. Then we wanted her to help us with a coupon that was on the chicken & she said some weird thing. Oh you want to try to get another discount? Giggling. Playing games. Very unprofessional &...
Read moreFirst I'd like to state that I'm from GA/NC and I'm always looking for food that reminds me of home. Back where im from our "Rallys" is called Checkers and the food I had today definitely reminded me of home. I ordered the baconzilla combo with a fruit punch Fanta slushie and all flavors hit me at every level. There definitely should be more Rallys locations here in Northern CA. I'd to give a huge thank you to the staff at this location for bringing the "home" feeling back to me!! The only complaint I have is that I wish my fries came to me HOT. The fries were at a decent temperature but you can tell they were sitting for a...
