Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Sacramento

UPDATE: After checking with the rest of our family that was with us, 6 others got sick from what we can only assume was from here.

Do you really want to eat here? This location was disgusting! The bathrooms were out order, one clogged and the other the toilet was running and didn’t flush and there was BLOOD on the walls!! They gave our pizzas to a different table and we had to wait for them to make new ones for over an hour! The ceiling was the old popcorn style with holes like they moved a light at one time and never latched it. My family got food poisoning and my wife is throwing up as I type this. This is truly the worst Round Table ever. And the pizza was not made how we ordered it. Save your time and money and never go here, ever. I know I will never go back it was disgusting if I could rate it a zero I would!!!!!!!!! For the hour and a half or so we wasted there, not one table was cleaned off. Disappointing is the best way to describe what a cheapening of the Round Table brand this place was. Yeah sure, quality is king as they say, but this place had absolutely no redeeming quality whatsoever for what an expensive dud this place was. Please let this review serve as a reminder that all the other 1 star reviews from years ago are still relevant. The fact that it survived through the pandemic blows my mind. They need a health inspector and a staff that can have some pride...

We tried to order a pizza over the phone and were told it would be about a 45 min wait. We expected longer so we were pretty stoked bc it was Halloween. 1 1/2 hours later no pizza and we called back.

First we tried the “check on your order status” option over the phone and were sent to a voicemail box that that was full. It was the same for the Manager option. We finally used the “new order” option. We were given inconsistent answers about if our pizza was even ready and were told it would take “a few minutes“. Another half hour or so later we called again. “It’ll take a few minutes”. We call again and it’s clear this guy has no clue what’s going on. He couldn’t find our order and he was rude and tried to transfer us back to the desk which would’ve sent us back to a full voicemail box.

We got the pizza 3 hours after we ordered and it was cold. Come to find out round table uses a call center for their order services now. This system is ineffective and honestly was a terrible idea. This pizza is way too expensive for the crappy service and to get it cold.

If we’d been told it would take 3 hours there would be no issue. Halloween is busy. But this was ridiculous. All for a small pizza and...

This isn't a review for one visit, but an overall experience with this location. Our family has been a Round Table Pizza customer for the past 20+ years. We've been going to this location for almost five years now. We usually rotate between three or four different pizzas since we have multiple favorites. The wings are great**, and much bigger than a wingstop Chicken wing. My wife loves the Garlic Twists. They are pizza dough, garlic, cheese, and a ranch(?) type sauce cooked to order. The pizza is a bit more expensive than a Domino's/Papa John's/Little Caesar's, but the quality is MUCH better. If you usually get cheap pizza, do yourself a favor and try Round Table.

Edit: They changed the size of their pizzas. The large used to be 16 slices, but is now 12. The extra large is 16 slices but used to be 20. There doesn't seem to be a 20 slice pizza anymore. They also changed the wings when I wasn't paying attention. I do not recommend the boneless wings. Haven't tried the Classic wings since they made the change. My rating has gone from five stars to four. It used to be expensive but worth it. The ingredients are still incredible, but the bang for your buck has diminished...
