I get that today was a saftey harbor best damn race and that there was quite a bit of people coming in. However I run a restraunt myself and had the worst experience of my life here! I sat down and waited 30 minutes to get my drink order taken, then I ordered right away for 3 people. More peple kept getting seated, and each table got their order before us. 1 hour passes and the woman who took our order asked if we had ordered. Um, yes we did about an hour ago, then she tells me that I exaggerated that statement. Calling me a liar. And says I'll go check. They keep seatting more and more people instead of telling them that there is a wait because they obviously can't handle the volume as it is. Finally we go up to a woman in frnt aND say hey what's going on did you guys lose or forget our order? They come back 10 min later and tell us oh guys it's gonna be a Lil wait. We say we're done here and we will just leave. The woman GLADLY sent us away, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AT ALL. I could run around in circles 30x times before any one working here could get a water. Very disappointed. Now I have to go wait at another restraunt to get breakfast with my family. What a waste. You've lost 3 customers for good. You guys need better staff. Also, one of the woman complained to us how busy it was. That's your job!!!!! If you can't handle it then get an office job or something with less demand! Thanks...
Read more"Alright, podcast family, let me tell you about my latest find. As a foodie and a writer, I'm always searching for that perfect spot—a place where the food inspires and the atmosphere allows for focused work. And I think I've found it. This family-owned restaurant is a breath of fresh air. You can feel the love in every bite. They're not cutting corners here. Everything is made from scratch. I'm talking creamy potato salad, tangy tzatziki sauce, and dressings that are bursting with flavor. But the real star? The desserts. They have a beautiful display case filled with tempting sweets, and then, hidden in the back, are these warm, homemade desserts that are just…wow. It's like a secret menu for your taste buds.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the warmth. The family who runs it treats you like one of their own. It's the kind of place where you can settle in, edit your work, and feel completely at home. For any of you looking for a culinary escape, a place to write, or just a fantastic meal, you need to find this spot. I'm not going to name it just yet—I want you to discover it for yourselves. But trust me, your taste buds and your soul...
Read moreOverall this place is OK but not if you have any food allergies.Staff was very friendly and there was little wait time. The cold brew coffee however was very watered down and burnt tasting. It seems like they use very low quality coffee and try to really stretch it likely for maximum profits.
I was asking if they had any gluten free options available as I am celiac and they were like "that's what is in bread right?".
If you are in the food industry in the year 2025 you should be educated on allergies imo.
I would expect a breakfast place at least have the option for some eggs or an omelette that is gluten free but I just couldn't trust eating there as they had literally ZERO knowledge on if any of their products contained gluten or not.
If you are unable to accommodate that's fine I would just prefer them to understand allergies and be upfront and honest about what I can and cannot eat at...
