The city of Safety Harbor from my understanding bought all this property from the Safety Harbor Spa to make a water park but not with rides and that nature. There will be boardwalks out into the mangroves. There are fantastic concerts put on there by the Safety Harbor Music and Arts Center (SHMAC) which I cannot say enough about they are phenomenal and very diverse they have classes and concerts at their main Center. In the spring they have the Safety Harbor Music Festival. You may not know some of the names of the people that will be playing but go relax and enjoy the day or the weekend. The Safety Harbor water park should be open the end of February to the beginning of March go to Safety Harbor connect dot-com and you can find out more information. We Love Our Town and we don't put up with people that disrupted. We have tons of artists that have done many murals throughout the town it's a great stroll up and down Main Street. Enjoy your visit to...

Its an absolutely free park plus no parking fee of any sort. I enter walking by the harbor, Palm trees throughout the park, I found myself surrounded with greenery. New fresh bright Green leaves everywhere I gazed.
There’s one extended pier available for fishing, it has covered seating areas too. One of the lucky people caught a Sting Ray, I recorded a video of how they had to let it go. One fisherman bagged multiple fish( mullet) using his net. I’ve added a video for that too.
That said, The connecting trails are the best part about this Waterfront park, felt extremely calm and relaxed while I sat there and just breathe. I highly recommend this place for kids, also keep in mind No vehicles or pets are allowed on the trails. Most advantageously, the entire park is wheel chair/Stroller accessible. Walk, jog, sit, relax, catch a fish or two, there’s a lot you...
