Great place with pretty amazing food and drinks, but service was not that great. We had a big group with people joining as others were already at the table. Server seemed to be irritated by everyone not being ready to order at the same time. He even made some pretty rude comments about that. Having a large group it will be challenging to get food to everyone at the same time, it's understandable. The person helping with the food delivery from the kitchen was also showing his negative attitude because when he was asking who ordered what and people couldn't hear him and didn't answer, he was ready to just walk away from our table. In fact, another person who was helping him to deliver from the kitchen told him to leave and that she got this. Half of our group consisted of young teens so when they walked out for a moment, the server cleared the table in seconds taking half full plates to the back without asking or offering to-go boxes. Because not everyone's food was delivered at the same time, some of these taken away plates were almost untouched. Parents would gladly take leftovers! A lot of food went to waste that day without the need... Sadly we all had 20% tip added for a big group even though service was far from acceptable. Food was great so as overall atmosphere and we had no problem talking to each other without screaming which is a huge plus. Will return but with the smaller group. Hope server will be in a better mood...

Read moreOverall, this place is fantastic and it’s location makes it hard to miss when you drive through Safety Harbor. I loved the Lobster grilled cheese and the lobster bisque they provided for you to dip into. We also had the swordfish bites and they were excellent. So when it came to the most important parts of this restaurant, this place is amazing. You have a very nice, lively bar and the atmosphere seems always cozy. I would definitely recommend this spot for anybody who wants to experience a real Florida vibe.
So why not 5 stars? The men’s bathroom was dismal and was essentially “out of order” regarding the only urinal. This created a line to access the only handicap friendly toilet with a rather flimsy lock on the stall door that folks tried to bypass. The other issue is parking. Unless you are going at a time of day when nobody is around (highly improbable), expect to fight over parking spots if you can find any. Granted, I didn’t know until later there is adequate parking, but it requires a nice hike for at least a block to get here. In a big city, sure, no problem. In Safety Harbor though, come on. All of these restaurants in Safety Harbor are geared towards locals who can walk or the tourists staying at a nearby hotel. This is both good and bad, but in the grand scheme of things the parking doesn’t hurt...
