Tocobaga Tours Kayak and Paddleboard Rentals — Attraction in Safety Harbor

Highlight of the day.

Ken was fantastic to work with. I called in advance to ensure they had boats available, very pleasant to deal with over the phone.

A quick 30 min uber from our hotel had us right by the docks. I must admit I was taken back by the fold out tent and rows of Kayaks- a bit more laid back then I was expecting. Ken was real fun to work with, gave us water route suggestions, places to stop and take pictures, walked us through a brief history of the area, and finally a quick tutorial on basic water safety.

Over all we spent about 2 hours out on the water, on a calm, partly cloudy day. I am not exaggerating to say that was one of the most relaxing, enjoying experiences I've had in a while.

We love Tocobaga tours. We have gone out kayaking several times. Just last week we got to see a pod of 6 dolphins playing about 20-30 feet from us. They were swimming around and jumping in the air. It looked like they were putting on a show for us. Then a couple of them would come up about 10 feet from us and then dive under our kayaks and come up the other side 15 feet away. It was amazing watching them go underneath us. We have also seen rays and manatees earlier...

Me and my group of 5 others had an amazing time with Ken! He was very attentive and made sure we were comfortable at all times. He gave us opportunities to turn around if we didn’t want to continue. But we wanted to keep going! We went an hour out and an hour back. Saw some sting rays and spent some time admiring the birds along the shore.
