Rocking Delicious — Local services in Safety Harbor

Super cute candy store with a ton of different candy options. Both my husband and I require gluten-free food and the shopkeeper was very knowledgeable about which non-boxed confections were gluten free. Basically, the wrapped taffy candies and the truffles are gluten free and we opted to get four truffles for the two of us.

There are about 18 (or so?) different flavors to choose from, and then, you can choose dark-, milk-, or white-chocolate coatings. Not all the flavor variations come with the different coatings but honestly, who cares? It's chocolate!

My husband chose an amaretto and a rum truffle and I chose an orange and a Black Forest truffle. So far, we've had the amaretto (white chocolate) and Black Forest (dark chocolate) truffles and they were AWESOME! Highly recommended. I'm sure the orange and the rum truffles will be equally delightful. I will be bringing my Mom and other family/friends to this shop to enjoy a truffle(s) and a Starbucks coffee/tea, because there is a Starbucks just kitty-corner to Rocking Delicious.

The items are a tad expensive, like any regular stand-alone candy shop, but the candy is really supposed to be a small treat or a really thoughtful gift for someone. Excellent confections just come at a price, so save up and treat yourself. I'm glad my husband and I stumbled across this...

If Willy Wonka retired and moved to safety harbor. What an awesome candy store. So clean and very appealing to the eyes. Lots of candy but so organized I didn't get lost in the store. Every kind of laffy taffy you can think of and some you didn't ever think they would make like cucumber!

And the gentleman behind the counter was so nice and answered my million questions . . . . Because I turned into a kid in a candy factory.

I went for the truffles. It's very difficult to find a good solid truffle. One that hasn't been made into a designer chocolate with jam and dried fruit inside. Just wanted a good old fashion chocolate truffle raspberry inside and hard wonderful chocolate outside. And it did not disappoint. My aunt(the reason for the visit) was very happy when she received them for her birthday. Just like the ones we have to drive to St Augustine to get. And they have milk, white and dark of every flavor. Worth every penny.

I will absolutely be back again! ...
