Nolan's Pub — Restaurant in Safety Harbor

Spent the day in Safety Harbor. Every place we went had amazing service and were friendly - until we arrived here. There were three people in the place - red flag, because everywhere else was busy. All the (4) TVs were on one game and I asked if one, in the back where nobody was sitting, could be changed for us. I was told yes but you’re not getting sound. Fine.

Then there was impatience about me not picking a beer quickly enough. When another in my party of four came in she asked if he wanted a beer, but he was facing away from her and 20’ away and didn’t hear her. She then said “I guess not” in a snarky manner.

She then proceeded to give my daughter a hard time because her 7# Maltese was not on the floor - she was in a shoulder harnesses bag. Mind you, they have a wall of dog photos we just took a pic in front of.

After five minutes the bartender then went after my daughter again to put the dog on the floor “for insurance” reasons.

At that we just said we’d leave even though we just got our drinks. I went to the bar and asked for a check when the bartender proceeded to hurl four or five insults at me about hoping my team would lose, that we shouldn’t be in their “neighborhood bar” and more choice phrases. I finally told her how I felt about the service and her friend then attempted to attack me. Literally.

Most surreal experience ever. It’s now obvious why only three “locals” were there on a busy...

Awesome, extremely friendly little watering hole in the heart of downtown Safety Harbor. Delicious Guinness on tap and a bunch of other great stuff. They even have the hard-to-find Boddington's! Well worth checking out. Hopefully when you're there Darcey will be serving you. She is next-level hyperspace, speed-of-light awesome!

This establishment is also highly noteworthy for its love and support of local live music. Highly professional open mic each Thursday night with a beautifully articulate sound system...run by the amazing Jack Anderson. Live local musicians Friday and Saturday nights!
