I am having my 9 year old granddaughters birthday today. I ordered an ice cream cake for her on a Thursday. I told the girl I needed it for 6 to 8 people. She said it would be a rectangular cake, that would serve 6 to 8. Today, (Saturday) I picked the cake up and it is rectangular but a very small cake for 6-8 people. I called them back and explained the problem. The girl that answered said to come down and get another cake. I told her I was not paying for it, and she said no you don't have too. I got there and the girl got the same cake out of the freezer and ask if I wanted the same thing wrote on it. I said yes, meanwhile another girl was there with her and she stated I would have to pay for the rectangular cake, after the other girl said I did not have She then pulled out a round cake and said this feeds 6-8 and I would have to pay for it and bring the other one back.. That is obviously not what I ordered and not what my granddaughter requested. I then asked if I could get ice cream to replace the other 3 pieces of cake. I was told I would have to pay for that as well. The whole time they had the manager on the phone and she was relaying messages to the girl to tell me. Then I was asked to stay and wait for the manager who was on her way. My question is why? I basically had a third person conversation with her on the phone. I do not recommend this place for ice cream cakes. It's pretty obvious to me the right hand is clueless what the left hand is doing. Last time I checked bait and switch...

I remember coming in as a kid and it was fun family place, does not have the same feel anymore. The workers had an attitude. I was serviced by the such a rude young woman. I ordered a vanilla malt and while she was making it, I watched as she put in too much milk and then when it was ābeing spunā it was going everywhere which seemed to annoy her more. She gave me the drink and I paid $7, took a sip and it tasted sour. I could have had her remake it, but I didnāt want to stay any longer especially if I knew the next person making my malt was going to possibly be rude as well. When I look at the malt in the car, I can tell itās almost all milk with a hint of ice cream. I threw it away and went to Great Lakes Bay Ice Cream where I got great service and a malt worth the money. Never coming back, no...

I overheard the female and the guy with the blue hat openly complaining about customers still being in the store 5-10 minutes before closing. A phone call came in and the girl behind the counter answered the phone as "Mooneys we closed at 9 good bye" and then immediately hung up. On top of that the manager was hovering by the door staring people down and promptly at 9 PM told everyone that was finishing their ice cream that the inside closed at 9 PM and that we could take lids and go. Everyone was pushed out the door by 9:04 PM. Having worked a couple food places and some retail jobs in the past this attitude would have never flown. Good product but those kind of things do not make me feel welcomed...
