I don't know what the recent renovations accomplished other than removing the Play Place. It's very rare that I bother with fast food when Thai House is millions of times better and costs virtually the same. However, I do have a childhood fondness for the McRib and wanted to have one for the first time in years.
Given that, we went to check out the renovated building. It's a nightmare. We noticed that the drive-thru had about 20 cars waiting, and should have taken our clue from that. Inside, while the decor is all new, the registers area actually seems smaller. I counted 40 people in line, not to mention the people following us into the establishment, going all the way from the registers to the front of the building and around the corner heading for the door on the left side nearer the drive-thru lane. It wasn't worth it, so we walked out.
I can't judge the food, though I'm certain it's no different, but the lines and frustration I was hearing from those who'd finally gotten a table and told us it had taken them 40 minutes to get through the lines and order/receive their food, I'm really glad that...
Read moreI am a very pissed customer. I placed a mobile order and waited in line till I got to the speaker. The person on the other end said that they would be right with me and didn’t wait for my response. I waited, while the other lane let 3 cars go in front of me. I went to the window and the little girl said that line was taken care of by someone else and that she could not take care of me. If I had not already paid through my mobile app, I would have gone some place else. I then got out of line and went inside the store. I asked for a manager. I was not even apologized to for the inconvenience. The manager never even came over to me and I was waited on by a different employee. I feel the way this was handled was very unprofessional and very rude. I was not even approached by the manager at all. I don’t expect any thing free, I would just like an apology for the way I was handled. I am trying to make it so no one else has to go through that...
Read moreI get having to drive to the side and wait if it's packed or you have a "Special order" because it helps with their wait times on the drive-thru so they don't get in trouble. It takes 2-3 times as long now if you go through the drive-thru or pick curbside. Going inside is not any better and isn't an option for a lot of people especially with mobility issues. What is extremely frustrating is when you are asked to pull ahead or to the side (so their times look good) and then a few other customers are asked the same, you will not receive your food till they have everyones food they just parked. I ended up waiting over 20 minutes one day because I was asked to park to the side sense I use the mobile app to pre-order what I want. About 7 minutes into waiting they parked 3 other cars and I didn't receive my food till ALL the parked cars had their food ready also. My French fries or cold and my burgers...
