While my review may only be a drop in the bucket compared to the numerous BW3's spread across the country, Im still compelled to talk about my experience. Im usually patient and not quick to negative reviews. Since the lack of service and quality has a certain continuity at this location, I feel it should be noted. My first issue came when we decided to sit on their patio. On a gorgeous Florida evening, what is better than cold beer and some good ole chicken wings! Well, we sat...and sat...and sat...before finally a lackluster server came outside and casually asked us what we were having. I ordered a beer and since we had been waiting so long, we went ahead and ordered our food. The beer came outside about 5 minutes after ordering it which was ok but, beer gets warm quickly. So, I sipped my ever warming beer...and we waited...and waited...and waited. Finally, our server came outside with our food having never come out to check on us. The wings were cold. She turned on her heel and walked back inside not even asking if I wanted another beer. And we waited...and waited...finally, I was ready to go and I was not going to wait any longer. I walked into the restaurant myself and walked up to the bar and asked the bartender if I could just pay there. Then, out of the corner of my eye, there was our server leaning casually over an empty booth with her eyes glued to her cell phone. She looked up to see me at the bar and then was all "Oh, ya'll ready?". I bit my tongue and handed her my card without even having been handed a receipt. I left a tip she didnt deserve. Then, 2 days ago, I decided to use a gift card and get their "famous wings" for the family! I ordered my food at 5:49pm and they said, it will be ready at 6:13. I rushed down there and arrived by 6:15. I asked if the food was ready and they said "not yet". So, I paid at 6:21pm. I then sat there on their bench in a half capacity restaurant for 40 minutes. When the manager was at the register, I even asked him where my food was...people were waiting for their dinner. He just said "let me look"...never saw him again. Finally, over an hour after I ordered, I got impatient and asked a different girl where my wings were. A girl came out from the back with a bag of food and gave me some "they had to remake it" excuse which in reality, they just forgot. No "we are very sorry sir" or "we threw in a few extra wings for your wait"...nothing. It was like handing me their dirty laundry. When I got the food home, my "large" fries were the same size as the regular and dried out and stale as well as the most pathetic dried out wings. I felt bad for suggesting Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner. Its a good thing though...BW3 is a national chain and they wont miss my business. St. Augustine has plenty of other great places to get wings and Im happier to offer my...
Read moreEDIT (3 months later): again horrible customer service. 11pm they close at 12am and hostess gave us major attitude saying âwe only have one server and he doesnât have clean tables so if yâall wanna wait coolâ and then consistently made us feel like we were in the wrong coming to eat. Appalled at how they are able to stay open when every time iâve come I have felt like a burden as a guest⌠so disappointing. Again, I work in the industry and I understand! Gives you no right to make guests feel like a burden when you are open for another whole hour!!
Upsetting experience⌠yet again. Iâve tried this place multiple times and every time I walk in there is no one at the front door. Staff members walk by and ignore guests. Multiple staff walked by looked at me and just kept going⌠no acknowledgement. Finally was told Iâd be put on a 20 min wait with the restaurant being not even half full. I understand, I work in a restaurant and realize how tough times are. I overheard a staff member say they put a group on a 45 min wait so they would leave bc âthey always make a mess when they come inâ to another guest⌠Eventually sat was not greeted for 20 min⌠managers served us the entire meal which was fine!
What was not fine, watching staff members on their phones ignoring guests and eating instead of working. There is one host there, younger gentlemen with sandy hair, who seems to run the place. I give him 5 stars for always going above and beyond when everyone else seems to be hanging out. I really wish I could give this place another try being the only place to really go for sports. However. after 3 visits and terrible service by servers bartenders and staff in general, I unfortunately will be finding...
Read moreWorst service weâve experienced dining out, in years. Waited 10 min for a hostess to show up and seat us. Waited another 15 min for a server to show up at the table. Ordered 2 beers and food at the same time. Took 25 min to get beer. Food came out 10 min later but we had no silverware to eat. We waited another 10 min for it. In the meantime, we tried to eat the fries and onion rings but discovered they were cold. Not even luke warm. Server offered to send back. Said it would be 5 more min and 20 min later we had food. We had to go to the bar to get more drinks during dinner. Manager offered to comp some food but bill came and only partially comped. Watched people come in and be sat, only to keep sitting with no server. Some actually got up and left. A family came in and sat beside us and still didnât have food when we leftâand they commented that the server walked off in the middle of taking their order because he âforgot somethingâ. A customer who was looked like a âregularâ was walking around, clearing off tables casuallyâthey were all empty and covered with plates etc. 8 of them to be exact. Store itself was dirty. Food all over the floors, terribly dirty bathrooms. Weâve been a fan of BWWs forever and this was such a let down. I try to be considerate of the season, or short staff etc. but to be honest, I left feeling that this place shouldnât be open at all. I wanted to jump in and help all these people who just wanted to eat! I wouldnât suggest eating there until changes are made-otherwise, youâll waste a lot of time and money to walk...
