Been going here for a couple of years, Went on Sunday before Christmas only to suddenly discover they take reservations. Except not knowing that we were quoted 30 minutes. When we asked about timing at 45 minutes, the hostess waving hands and in a nasty manner said "we have reservations that we have to seat first". Waited an hour. First one table of our size flipped twice while we were waiting and another table our size waited 45 minutes for a late reservation. Thankfully server was great food was good, once we got seated but a lot of people left while we were waiting at the door because one hostess had a bad attitude and no idea how to explain and retain guests much less flex reservations, while on a wait. As a guest of the restaurant for this long, watching them be virtually empty on weekends after Black Bear opened and then Gingham's opened their new location, it's a shame they treated us like that and will make us think twice about supporting them again after the holidays. One good day with people who will likely not return until next Christmas, hope it...
Read moreFrom entering, the place feels like it hasn't been updated since the 90s, we semi-bussed our table to make it somewhere we could comfortably sit. We considered leaving but were starving.
The appetizer of chicken wings was good. My partner enjoyed his bloody Mary's.
I ordered the dinner omelette and when I asked about the meat, I asked about the bacon, in particular, to see if it was served on the side and the quality of it. I was told it was thin slices, it was a whole mess of crumbled bacon (see picture) with way more cheese than is necessary for an omelette. That was taken off before it was edible (for me).
The steak meal came with an overdone steak that my partner couldn't chew (and he literally eats just about anything). The veggies were burned and the potato was maybe the only thing he could eat (though he lost his appetite trying to eat the steak).
The server took the steak off the bill. Can't call it the best of service. It just was... we likely...

I ordered the Cajun cheeseburger (Topped with Cajun seasonings, jalapeños, Swiss and cheddar). I substituted pepper Jack for the Swiss cheese and added grilled onions. Note: all burgers come with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles if you want. The double patties is the way to go but it’s a lot of food so proceed with caution and an empty stomach. Lol The flavor was great! The patties were cooked perfectly with melted cheese and grilled onions to top it off. I was in heaven.
The food took a little bit to come out but it was well worth the wait! I tried the crinkle cut fries 🍟 first and they were sooo good! I don’t know where this place gets their fries from but they taste like they were cooked in fresh and not old fry grease. Service was ok. No complaints there. We came on free pie day 🥧 and took home a slice of lemon meringue and cherry pie.
I will...
