QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Saint Clair Shores

Waited in line 20 minutes only to walk out. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Only one person making all the bowls, burritos ect. Then one other person putting the rest of toppings on. Meanwhile there was at least 8 people I seen waking around from the back to the front. Some just talking with each other, others cleaning up the back portion of the restaurant. Mind you it’s 7:30. It doesn’t close until 10. Finally got up to place my order only to be ignored while the girl who was taking the orders nonchalantly started talking with another coworker about who’s doing the dishes. She finally started my order . I asked for a manager. They looked at me like I had 2 heads. As I was telling her what I wanted she started with an attitude. NOPE! That did it for me. Literally a line almost out the door and yet absolutely no organization within the staff. Unbelievable. I’ve never seen such unorganized chaos at a Qdoba. Especially for a new opening. Employees need better training and where the heck was the management? DO BETTER! Train your staff, have organization...

Was looking forward to not having to go to Roseville to get Qdoba or chipotle but might still have too. Restaurant is clean which is expected since they are new. Staff was very friendly but these portions are ridiculous. They didn't even use a full scoop of rice so I had to ask for extra rice and was explicitly told this was a double scoop of rice as they added another half full scoop of rice. Everything else was tiny portions as well. This is location specific, go to the Roseville location and they aren't skimping on portions and of all things rice which is cheap. Having to ask for extra rice and it still not even cover the bottom of the bowl is wild.

Understandably this is the first day but to be going out of the way to give small portions already is not a great start. Will try again in a few weeks and hope they fix their...

I visited on the very first full day open to the public, and I was really impressed. The place is spotless, and the management; Store, general and district managers—were so kind and respectful. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and full of smiles.

The food is made fresh from scratch, and it was absolutely delicious—definitely a highlight of the visit.

I’ll admit I’m a little biased because my son works there (I won’t say his name), but you’ll probably know him—he’s the one making sure the team hears when supplies are running low. He does it loudly, but always with a smile, and I think he did a great job too.

Overall, wonderful experience. Keep up the great work—you’re definitely going to succeed here...
