I just had the worst customer service experience of my entire life at this location. I waited 25 minutes in the drive thru and ordered a pumpkin spice latte and 2 vanilla cream donuts. After I received my order, I took a sip of the coffee and knew immediately that it was not a pumpkin spice latte. It was a black coffee. Then I took a bite of the donut. It was NOT a vanilla cream donut. It was Boston Cream.
Considering I had just waited 25 minutes in line and paid over $9s for my order, I went back to get the right items. I tried to go into the building, and even though it says they are open on the inside... the doors were locked.
So I waited ANOTHER 25 minutes in the drive thru. When I explained the situation to the girl running the mic, she simply said, "pull around."
When I arrived at the window I handed them the donuts and coffee that were wrong. The girl in the window took one look at the donut and exclaimed, "This IS a vanilla cream donut!"
I said, "no. It is not."
Then a second girl came to the window and they both YELLED (I am not exaggerating) "IT'S VANILLA CREAM."
I reassured them it was not vanilla cream. This exchange went on for nearly a minute, with them screaming at me through the window that I was wrong.
Finally, one of the girls looked closer at the donut and said, "Oh. It actually IS boston cream."
Then they both shut the window without apologizing for both being wrong and having literally yelled at me for nearly a minute.
Eventually another girl came to the window and handed me my order. I asked who the manager was and she told me that she was the manager. I said, "You allow your employees to YELL at customers?" She said, "Sorry about that."
When I drove away, I took a sip of my coffee and it was NOT a pumpkin spice latte. I wasn't going to go BACK to the restaurant for the 3rd time so I decided to call corporate instead.
I never received any compensation for the near 50 minutes I'd just spent in line. I was never apologized to by the 2 girls who'd yelled at me.
I've worked customer service jobs prior to my experience in the medical field, and, let me tell you.... I would NEVER have yelled at a customer, even if I thought they were wrong. The behavior by both these girls should be grounds for firing.
I will never return to a Tim Horton's. Starbucks has a friendly staff and never get my order wrong. I'll go there from now on. I was a regular customer too. Nice job Tim Horton's. You just lost a...
Read moreI visited this Tim Hortons on 12/10/2020 at around 8:30am. I ordered a #2 which consists of a buttermilk biscuit sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese, coffee and hashbrown. Well, the woman that took my order was really polite and with a beautiful smile however, the food was awful!!!! I received my order and drove off to my destination. Once I got there I sat in my car to have my breakfast. I pulled my hashbrown out the bag and by the way it was just in the bag, not in a wrapping of it's own. My hashbrown was cold! I must describe it as if it was made earlier and just sitting somewhere and the preparer just found ot and gave it to me. So, I dropped it back in the bag and unwrapped my sandwich. Now come on! Can't I have something right? The biscuit was hard, cheese cold, and egg and bacon was lukewarm. I couldn't eat that. By the way, the coffee was great! So I drove back with the items. I explained to the team member, which was a different person, she wasn't as friendly as the first one, that my food was cold and I'd like another. My request was granted and I received another hashbrown and sandwich. OMG! Both items are cold! So, I got back in line and requested a refund. I explained to the young lady that my food was cold and she replied "we checked the first one and it was room temperature just like it supposed to be." What!, room temperature! I want a hot breakfast with my cheese melted, biscuits soft and hot along with fresh hot egg, bacon and hashbrown! Even McDonald's assures you a hot breakfast not "room temperature!" So that tells me you allowed my breakfast to sit t0o become the temperature of that room. This is unacceptable! Not a way to start my day. I never had this type of service from this Tim Hortons as I visit quite often. The young lady that so called handled the matter could definitely use a few hours of customer service training and Tim Hortons, if your way of serving breakfast items to be only "room temperature" them you may want to rethink your menu or stick to just coffee. Every one deserves fresh HOT food that is supposed to be HOT! I don't think I'd be visiting this location again. Very...
Read moreYesterday I attempted to visit this location for the absolute very last time. In fact, I may not ever visit ANY Tim Hortons, being that I live in Georgia and only come to Michigan a few times yearly to visit family. I recall the past couple of times the employees were not very friendly, but yesterday’s visit goes down as one for the books. I walked inside, the only one in line at the time, and gave my usual smile and good morning greeting, which was not returned at usual from this location. Very well. So I started placing my order to whom I believe was likely the shift or store manager, due to her age compared to the other workers. When asked what side I would like, I apologized for not being terribly familiar with the menu. Her curtness towards me as she blurted out the sides did not go unnoticed. That’s fine too. I then asked for “a lot of creamer” for my wife, because she likes a lot of creamer. Well, I think this request put her over the edge I guess. “Define a lot of creamer. I don’t know what that means” she said in a cold voice. I answered, asked for estevia for the coffee, kind of looked at her and all her meaness, and decided they really shouldn’t be getting my business. I told her, still politely, “you know, I think I’m going to leave, thank you very much.” I then went to McDonald’s....
