DQ Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Saint Cloud

The vibes were off tbh. Went in to get some chicken and a borger, employees weren't welcoming at all, no "high welcome in" felt very rushed and like I wasn't meant to be there. The store... Was very messy, no clean tables trash on the floor, and there were employees just standing looking lost. the chicken was decent but the burger you could tell has been on hold for like 7 eons. Then I got a pup cup and some blizzards, no whip on the pb pie, no whip for the pup cup, and they didn't flip them out ask about the mobile app which is supposed to be a standard. With all the staff they have on hand this store should be running way more efficiently, they left a lot to be desired today and I just hope they can pull it together, I see the potential here but the staff obviously isn't pulling their weight and isn't making customer service their priority in a service industry. We can do better people, we all know fast food is a little yuck job wise but if you come in with good energy you can truly make work a much more fun and enjoyable experience for you and your customers. DQ is always delicious! The only thing I hate/the only reason I gave 4 stars, instead of 5 is b/c they got rid of my ALL-TIME FAVORITE Blizzard, the Nerds Blizzard! ☹️😠 & recently, I've been having trouble getting my new 'favorite' (it's only my favorite now b/c the Nerds Blizzard is no longer an option), but I've been having problems getting a Hawaiian Blizzard lately, too!? 😠😮‍💨 Anyway, other than that, I LOVE Dairy Queen! I've ALWAYS loved Dairy Queen!! Particularly this, the St. Cloud, FL, Dairy Queen...I'm actually located (almost exactly) dead-center between 2 DQs, but I choose this one EVERY SINGLE TIME!! The staff here is always SUPER FRIENDLY & they get it right about 97+% of the time! While, my experience at other DQ locations (& nearly every other 'restaurant'/fast food/casual dining place), is that I have about a 50/50 (maybe 70/30, but that's the ABSOLUTE BEST possibility, in my experience) chance of getting EXACTLY what I ordered, EXACTLY how I ordered it!! So, in summary, I've always loved Dairy Queen! DQ is DELICIOUS! I still love DQ, especially the St. Cloud, FL location!! But DQ should ABSOLUTELY NOT change or get rid of the Hawaiian Blizzard, & they ABSOLUTELY SHOULD bring back the Nerds...

I wish there were negative stars to give for the awful service! We went through the drive thru and the lady taking our order was very rude and pushy from the moment she "greeted" us. My husband asked for a minute so I could look at the menu ( we haven't been to a DQ in years) and not even 5 seconds later she rudely rushed us again. We had a question on one of the combos and she was very sarcastic and unhelpful. We then proceeded to the window to pay only to be greeted by another rude employee. My husband asked who was taking the drive thru orders so we could get a name, but not one person responded. As we were pulling away my husband keep his cool and said thank you, you all have a great day! Only to be left with no reply AGAIN! We did enjoy the food but the service was awful!! Definitely will choose a different spot to meet for...
