Always amazed and it's ALWAYS AMAZZZZING! What else can I say? The cocktails are always perfect(esp.Margaritas...The beer is fresh... the salsa is made there & tastes just made & the chips are almost as good. As far as atmosphere, it's great... just a simple , little fun spot to hang put casually, or drink at the bar, either or. They take large parties, but usually I sit in the front booths which are really private(4people.fit). Me & my family.love those seats(un by the entrance in a row and next to bar-- they're quieter and out.of everyone's way). Bathrooms are fine, unlike most nasty restaurant bathrooms. Never seen 'em unusable, at all. Very kind service and servers. Hey, the place has been here for a cook's age, they know how to work it. Authe tic Mexican food, 100%. Anything u order will NEVER disappoint u, IF U LIKE MEXICAN 👍🏼😉...PERIOD! I'm a vegetarian, and they have pretty much every single dish there that u can have turned either vegetarian or even Vegan(if that's how u roll), but they're not a vegan place, so don't worry, for everyone else, there's PLENTY of Carne asada for the entire family ×10! They've got a menu the size of the restaurant....and it's all goodwhich usually isn't the case with large mended restaurants. As I said thow, they know their shi! ;-)) If your veg in any way, get one of the birrotoes...make it your veg. Style. Theyre the best. There's about 3 different ones that are totally different but all mesmerizing as a meatless meal, even with no dairy, they seriously kick @$$... SIZZLE 🔥. It's really unexplainable. If u haven't gone and u live here, you have sinned... if you're visiting, don't let the powers that be down. GO EAT HERE!!!!...

Then about 15 minutes later, the waiter, he came over asking if I'd like something to drink. So, 26 minutes later, I got the chips & salsa & was able to give my drink request. I went for the Mango Margarita. It took another 7 minutes but it arrived and it was delicious. So when he brought the drink over, I then gave him my food order. I did the garlic shrimp (camarónes al Ajo) with chicken breast strips with rice and beans. That took 12 minutes and I finished my chips and salsa and asked for more while I was waiting on my meal. The food, the main dish finally arrived & it was good. I did notice that the portion size was a bit smaller compared to what I've had at other restaurants for the same meal. But the shrimp were big & cooked very well and the food all in all was good. So once I was done, I waited another 10 or so minutes sitting there, waiting on my waiter to show so I could get the check. He finally came by, asked if I wanted anything else. I said no, just the check please. 2 minutes later he came back with it. I gave him my card. 5 minutes later, he came back with the card and the receipt. I signed & I was out of there. So my experience was ok. The food was good but the service is indeed, a little slow, and I'm not sure if it's on purpose because the place was not busy at all. Out of all the tables there in the main room, only 4 tables were occupied. Later on, 5 tables were occupied. But that was it, not filled, not busy, but yet slow service. But that's just...
Read moreI came with my parents to enjoy a nice dinner. The atmosphere and the server were great. The food however was in my personal opinion, mediocre. The pork in salsa verde had absolutely no seasoning or love in it. All I tasted was a bare minimum amount of salt, bay leaf and onion. The salsa verde also only tasted of onion and a pinch of salt. Where's the garlic? The cilantro?? Mexican food is supposed to be robust with flavour and simmered with love. My mother had ordered the chile relleno with a tamale and rice and beans and her chile relleno was literally just the paper thin skin of the pepper wrapped with an excess amount of bland milky cheese (probably mozzarella) and doused in an egg mixture. It tasted of a breakfast quesadilla filling instead of a proper chile relleno. And where was the chile?? A hearty poblano pepper needs to be the base of this dish. Not scraps off the skin and call it a day.
The beans and the salsa that was served with the chips were the only two things that had any flavour to them. I know Rancho Chico is settled in the middle of St. cloud where the locals don't know what real Mexican food is like aside from the passive weekend fiasco of "fajitas and margs", but this experience was not worth going back for another try. You're better off driving the extra couple of miles to Kissimmee for better options.
I will say however for the price of what you pay, you do get a LOT of food. Maybe a lot of unseasoned food, but a lot to fill you up. If you're looking for something to save on the wallet and get full, then this is your place.
