Planet Fitness — Local services in Saint Cloud

This team makes this gym. Every single staff member in this gym makes me want to come back again and again. I feel so happy coming here. I come as often as five times a week, and as little as three times a week, but every single time that I come here, I leave feeling better. I cannot emphasize enough the huge impact that the staff has on my experience.

The staff here greet me by my name, and while I am awful at names, they're so special that I've made an effort to learn their names. While I am still missing some names, some I can remember off the top of my head are Kimberly, Ashoy, Brandon, Madison, Maddie, Max, Kade, Kimberly, and Zoey. I must highlight that Kimberly and Zoey are two of the most personable, welcoming, and caring individuals I've had the pleasure of meeting.

At this gym, I feel I can be myself. I must admit that as a gay guy, the idea of a gym has felt intimidating in my head before, but in this gym, I feel welcome as I am. Since joining Planet Fitness, I have lost 100 lbs. I was 280 lbs before with a ton of health problems and I'm 180 lbs now without any of those problems. I started at the Florida Mall location, and it was great there too! But this gym is my home and I would not change it for anything. Give them all a raise!!! They deserve it!!!

I really didn’t mind all the old equipment that used to be at this location a week ago. They upgraded the majority of the equipment in the facility which you would think is a good thing. Not in this case… went from 6 smith machines to 4 but only 3 work. Some of the new machines are out of order… I was pretty excited about them getting new equipment but I think it did more harm than good. There used to be about two of each machine now there’s only one so it just seems like everyone’s standing around machine stalking the equipment. I’m always there early in the morning and the regulars are always able to flow smoothly and all do what we need to do without waiting or now really rushing so you’re not hogging a machine. I appreciate most of the upgraded equipment… the dumbbells and benches but I think they should’ve kept some or ordered two of everything as they had before. It’s not the best planet fitness; I’ve been too way nicer ones but I do appreciate convenience and rather go here than drive out my way to go to a nicer one. CF is across the street but I like the feel of a smaller gym. I’m having mixed feelings about this location now and have found myself starting here and finishing my workout across the street. I'm just going to go through and share my experience: This was my first time at this location I have been to a few others and thought that since this one was close to home it would be good! When I walked in I did not see anyone at the front which is fine I totally understand that but then one out of the two staff members poked out from what looks like a dark room behind the counter (at this point I had already been waiting for about 5 minutes so I was contemplating going to look for someone). They were not very welcoming and kind of just scanned my phone no conversation or anything (that's fine I was feeling very antisocial that day anyways!). I went straight to the bathroom and when I got in there it was gross and smelled of urine one of the stalls were out of order and the other was gross and looked like the door handle was broken. There was hair all over the showers and the bathroom was not kept up. The gym was humid and not the most space in the world but it works because the equipment was fine. There was men and women grunting very loudly and slamming the weight yet they were never approached and the alarm never went off. This made me very uncomfortable and I probably wont be returning to this location since there is no costumer service and basically no...
