I think the first couple of reviewers, who all gave 5-star reviews, must be personal friends of the owners or managers, because the experience I had wasn't 5-star worthy. I entered the restaurant, got in line behind just one person, who was finishing placing their order. They finished placing their order, and the person working the counter asked me to hang on for a sec while they answered the phone. Cool, I can wait a bit, no problem. However, the worker stayed on the phone for a full five minutes with me just standing there twiddling my thumbs. When I was able to place my order, I found out that the lowest cost order would be $13 (either a six wing combo, or a minimum order of 10 individual wings, which comes out to $13.50). A bit more than I had anticipated, but I went with the combo, which included a small drink and fries. They told me that it would be approximately 18 minutes before my order was ready. Yikes. So, I waited 20 minutes for my order to be called, and when they called it out, I received it in a HUGE, very wasteful, grocery-store sized paper bag. I got my drink, headed to the car, and before heading home I tried a couple of fries... the fries were limp, barely warm, non-salted, very plain, fries. Not a great start to the meal. At home I opened up the wings and gave them a try. I had ordered the mild, parmesan garlic wings, and the spicier Asian wings. Neither type of wing was crispy, and the parmesan had a very weak flavor. The spicier Asian wings had a nice flavor, and I enjoyed those (though a crispy skin would have been nice). The fries were just a lump of limp cold potatoes when I ate them with the wings.
So, overall, I'd give it a 2.5 if I could because the service was slow, the fries were limp and unflavored/unsalted, the wings weren't crispy, and it was more expensive than it seemed like it should have been for the food I received.
Maybe things will improve after they get a little more time under their belt at this...
Read moreFirst stop ever at Wingstop🙂…. I walked in and Jessica was right there ready to help me. I told her I had never visited a Wingstop and she began to tell me all about regular wing style choices and then told me about boneless, chicken tenders That appealed to me. I usually go for original wing sauce, but the hot 🥵 🍯 honey rub was talking to me. she also educated me about wing sauces and rubs ranging from no heat pineapple to what I’m assuming is blow your mind Atomic. So I ordered a three piece meal expecting fries would be my side; then Jessica mentioned Cajun corn and that was that, I ordered a 3 piece meal , with Cajun corn 🌽 and it came with a drink. I thought Coca - cola sounded great…. I very very very rarely indulge in soda pop but what is it about wings and a Coke, it just goes together, and the Coke had perfect zip and zing‼️ While I waited it occurred to me a rub would not be saucy. I approached the counter to order and pay for an original side of sauce and here is where GREAT customer service is evident, Jessica said “ I will put an original sauce in your order bag,” super super thoughtful and genuinely wanted me to completely enjoy my food. THAT IS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Jessica, thank you for making my first visit to Wingstop AWESOME and I will be back to the Wingstop at 1683 W Sunset Blvd. Oh, and the food was delicious 😋 🤤, as promised, it doesn’t get better...
Read moreMove over Buffalo Wild Wings, there's a new wing sheriff in town and their name is Wing Stop. From the moment I took a bite of their saucy, juicy wings, I knew I had found my new wing obsession. I mean, I'm pretty sure I heard angels singing as I savored each delicious wing.
The flavors at Wing Stop are out-of-this-world amazing. I tried tons of different sauces they had and I think I may have entered a new dimension of flavor ecstasy. Seriously, my taste buds were dancing the tango.
And let's not forget the sides. The fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection, and the ranch dressing was so good I wanted to take a bath in it (but don't worry, I resisted).
Overall, I highly recommend Wing Stop to anyone who wants to experience a flavor party in their mouth. Buffalo Wild Wings, you may have been the top wing spot before, but now you're just winging it. Wing Stop is where...
