Every time I come here I think I will just run in and grab something out of the food warmers...... And every time they are empty. 5:04 p.m. on a Wednesday afternoon when one worker is sitting out at the trash can smoking and four or five others are standing in the kitchen area griping...... This is unacceptable. Update........ A year later on a Friday at 2:05 p.m. I pulling here with the expectations of running in really quick and grabbing a couple of sandwiches out of the warmer and a year later it is the same way..... Out of all the warmers that they have completely clogging up the counter space there is one lonely chicken sandwich in it. So I fall back and think to myself okay I will order a pizza which I do at 2:08 p.m. on a Friday and the automatic voice tells me the pizza will be ready at 2:25 I go in at 2:27 and I have to sit there and wait until 2:45 to pick up my pizza. And my last gripe is...... If the guy sitting at the fuel desk does not want to be there then show him the door because he has all of the personality of a viper.... If you don't want to be there and say hello and please and thank you and all of the things that go with working in retail then he needs to be run off. I like Casey's.... I am a regular Casey's customer--- the one in story City is well stocked their Pizza is delicious and they are friendly on every occasion...... This place just sucks.... Sorry but it just sucks. I think from here on out I will just...
Read moreThis Casey’s is a dump! Every time I’m in there the diesel counter is cluttered and the employees do not listen. I ask for diesel and def and they never activate def. PITA! The restrooms always look like they haven’t been touched in awhile. The soda coffee bar is always a mess and empty or broken dispensers. I wouldn’t trust the kitchen even to win a bet. Outside on the diesel islands the cans are overflowing with debris all around. There’s a dirt lot for truck parking and looks like some campers have moved in for an extended stay. If it wasn’t for the cheap Mudflap diesel I wouldn’t stop here at all. I’m a regular at Casey’s all over the Midwest. This is out of the ordinary for a Casey’s experience.
Management has lost control.
Follow up to owners comment: Thanks for the copied and pasted response. I left a comment at the link the day I was there though. Apparently this location has been this way for quite awhile and forwarding comments to the St Josephs team is ineffective. That evening I took my business 10 miles up the road to Trex and it was a HUGE difference. Nice and clean inside and out, a fully functioning sit down cafe and fully stocked shelves and coolers. A difference of...
Read moreBathrooms were pretty dirty and not stocked towards the end of day. Men's was worse than the women's. I've seen worse women's bathrooms though. The state of the bathroom didn't match the store. Looks like nice clean store and you expect the bathrooms to match. No toilet seat covers. Lots of stalls and sinks though. Bathrooms were cleaned overnight and much better in the early morning. Handicap stall is very large. No showers. Had some pantry items like milk, eggs, bread, cold pressed juice, and tons of snacks for sale. Coffee was not the greatest and some machines weren't working. Employees were friendly though! They sell pizza, some hot foods, and pastries. Fresh donuts in the morning. Truck store is small and towards the back by the pumps. Decent truck parking, some paved some dirt. Large bumps/potholes towards the back and tight turnarounds. Shares a parking lot with a standalone McDonald's. Crosswalk available to walk across to the coffee house, sub shop, Sonic, or Waffle House. If you are up for a bit of a walk you can make it to Menards if you need some items. Some transient people outside all hours by the regular parking lot...
