This was terrible service from the top to the bottom. We were on a tight timeline driving between Kansas City and omaha. Downloaded the app to make things quicker and placed an order. Had no time was there any suggestion that anything was out of stock. Arrived and still waited 15 minutes for the food to show up at the car. They were really no other customers coming through the parking lot at that time. It was enough time I went inside to use the restroom I saw three employees standing around at the front counter just chatting about the weekend.
The order arrived we got on the highway and as we made our way through traffic started passing out the food and realized two items were missing from the bag. Definitely didn't have time to turn around to complain and didn't have time to stop for other food. I looked again on the app and now it said that the burritos were out of stock or unavailable. I looked at my receipt on my email and we had indeed been charged for the full order there was no correction.
I thought this would be a simple phone call to the corporate number. I didn't have a receipt from the store there was not a receipt on the bag at all. I thought this would be like what calling a company like Starbucks to complain was.
McDonald's corporate told me that no I needed to call my bank and report it with them and they go through the procedure. I called the bank they said my only alternative was to say it was fraud. I called back McDonald's remind you every time I call it's at least 15 minutes on hold to get through to someone. By now it was the principle of the thing this seemed like such an easy thing to handle. When I reach someone at corporate this time they told me that they'd be reaching out to the regional store and the store would have to handle things. They gave me an ID number or maybe called a case number whatever it was it was a number I needed to reference if I had to call back after a week of not hearing from someone. Today was the day I reached out again and they didn't know what my reference number I was using was about. By the waya Ihavebeencallingthelocalstore repeatedly. Every time it's either busy or rings indefinitely until someone picks up the line and hangs up. Today again after explaining the situation in detail the corporate office said I would need to report this with my bank. Today I followed their lead and reported as fraud. Now I need to get a new card. While I was on the phone with the bank amazingly McDonald's regional office called and said they'd never heard about this situation. She at first offered to give me $10 to cover the inconvenience. I told her that was small pennies for the amount of time it's taken me to take care of something that was so ridiculous. In the end she offered $20 gift certificate. This will be my final trip. Poor customer...

The lady in the drive through said I had spoken to her and that they couldnt replave the meal without a reciept. I told her she hadnt said that on the phone, and she just kept repeating that she wouldnt replace the meal without a reciept. I got annoyed and told her that she needed to learn how to speak to customers and tell the other employees how to treat customers too. She then said I needed to leave. So, with that being said, if that was the manager i spoke with, you were great with pretending you were going to do the right thing, but you may want to follow through. If that wasn't the manager I spoke with, you need to check your employees. 🙃
I understand that it's fast food, but I went late last night and ordered, asked if they would make sure that there was bacon because last time I didn't get it. Got pulled forward and sat for about 20 minutes, and when my food came out it was wrong. I didn't realize it until I got home, but when I called to let them know it was wrong, the guy hung up on me. I called back and a girl answered and I asked for the guys name, which she gave. If you're going to be in a service like that, customer service is a must! I called today to speak with the manager, which I didn't get her name, but she apologized, and made sure I was going to get taken care of my next visit. To the manager I spoke with, you're the ONLY reason this review got bumped to a 3 star. THANK YOU for being so polite and...
Read moreWas very disapointed. This location was clean, up to date, and the atmosphere was great. The customer service and food preparation was terrible. While we ordered from the automated system (because no one was present at the front) it took 10 minutes to place that order, and another 15 to get it. We were traveling the intention was to grab something "fast" and get back on the road.
While we awaited our order one person came in to complain about the accuracy of her order. Meanwhile, another McDonald's employee told the others not to worry about the items on another persons order they were preparing.
15 minutes later our food came to us. No drinks (milkshakes or the bottled waters). My fries were freezing and my burger was literally covered in grease with black spots allover the outside of the wrapping and inside. My burger was also lukewarm. Our original reasoning had been that maybe it had take 15 minutes because they made it fresh- not the case at all. In addition, we were the only ones in the restaurant so the delay was very unnerving.
I decided to request my drinks and return my burger. I approached the front and explained my concerns the girl was courteous but it was evident that there was a great deal of chaos inthe back and confusion. It seemed like kids were running the place with no idea how to serve the food or people. Wouldn't go back.
Wish they would have took some of the renovation money and put it in...
