Lunds & Byerlys Catering — Restaurant in Saint Louis Park

I had an event that was catered on November 10, 2018, delivered to the Central Park of Woodbury. The delivery person was precisely on time and completed the entire set up very quickly. He was friendly and informative about using the Sterno's.

All of my guests commented on how nice the variety of brunch items that were offered and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The fruit crostini’s were a huge hit along with the golden punch. The potatoes were hot and had a very slight “spicy” taste. I’m not sure if it was black pepper but everyone loved it. I was concerned that I wouldn’t have enough croissants (dozen) however, I trusted Kelli’s decision that not every guest will take one and there would be other items available. She was 100% correct as I had 6 leftover.

This was my first experience catering and I am so happy my favorite grocery store offers this service. I am so pleased that L&B helped make my daughter’s baby shower so special for her and all the guests. Not having to make the food helped me concentrate on the fun things; making the invitations, gifts and decorations. The cake was exactly what I requested. The almond white cake flavor was amazing and very moist.

Byerly's makes the mundane task of shopping for groceries fun and exciting. I miss the days of samples, to be sure, but I still appreciate the excellent customer service, the cleanliness, and the product selection. I don't understand why there is the belief it is so much more expensive - I have priced many things there as a lot cheaper than Cub (most recently, I spent $1 more per Fennel bulb at Cub - I was in a hurry and had made the sad assumption it would be cheaper - it was not, and it was definitely not as fresh, either!) As a result, I have entirely switched over to Byerly's, foregoing Cub all together, because my total monthly spending hardly changed and the food seems a little fresher if I stick with Byerly's. We just used Lunds and Byerlys to help cater our wedding reception this past weekend. They were SOOO helpful from beginning to end! Right from the start, Tracie did an amazing job in suggesting food selections and helped guess the right amount of food for our guest list of about 250. The day of, they delivered right on time, and our two serves were absolute rock stars. They helped set up the entire thing (including moving around tables!), they periodically walked around with food offerings when there were food items people weren't initially trying, and at the end of the day they did everything to help us clean up (including offering to carry gifts to my car!).
