The Tii Cup we frequent in Minneapolis has a terminal you can order from. We went in and started to place our normal order like we normally do, not realizing the terminal at this location wasn’t working.
To their credit, we didn’t catch the post-it note on the terminal that said (albeit written w/ bad handwriting w/ a dying sharpie pen) it was working only as menu. But, instead of just telling us that it wasn’t working, the employee stood at the register and stared blankly at us for a good 4/5 minutes while we put in our order. When I tried to pay, he noted that I wasn’t using my card on the correct pad, so I tried again on the other one, and THEN he finally told us the terminal was only working as a menu.
Needless to say, instead of verbally re-adding our entire order that we entered into the broken terminal, we walked out.
I understand the annoyances and difficulties working in retail. We missed the obvious hastily written note on the terminal that said it wasn’t working. Our bad for that, but to essentially stand there looking at us while clearly knowing that we were entering our entire order that we’d just have to re-enter at the register is completely unhinged.
You really got us good, and that’s a cool troll and all, but I’m not sure that’s the time or place for it.
Please have a shred of courtesy for the people coming into your store where you work. The very least you could have done was tell us to stop adding our drinks and food into the terminal while thinking to yourself how dumb we were for not seeing the note on the side of the screen. I went with my sister and her friends for her birthday. We ordered three drinks and one waffle. First I’m going to start this off by saying that everybody there was on Their phones for the majority of the time, or talking to eachother. not only that the lady that was helping me was extremely rude towards me. But I’ve ordered this drink before it’s just that today it was extremely sour tasting, and was very watered down. the Boba was kind of hard and tasted different. Second my sister‘s friend ordered a taro milk tea and they were clumps of taro powder in the milk tea. We had waited at least 10 minutes just for them to make three drinks and then another few minutes to make the bubble waffle Just for the bubble waffle to be the wrong kind. Read moreI’ve been here a few times and have been iffy. but I went here recently and it was easily my worst experience. first off the place was dead silent and there was about 5 workers the lady working the cash register was very rude and rushing my daughter into ordering my daughter was reviewing what two options she was stuck on with me and then the lady just put down one of the options and told us to pay I also ordered a bubble waffle that took them 5 tries it a WAFFLE how hard is it not to burn so we waited about 20 minutes and there was maybe one other person there we should’ve been waiting 5 minutes max then when my daughter finally received her boba she was mixing it by shaking it up a bit and the drink got all over her because they didn’t seal it right the drink also made her throw up and after all the waiting for the the bubble waffle it still tasted burnt Tii Cup you better get your...
